Divine smoked fish. A full range of smoked fish to take home for dinner or as ‘takeaway’. We tried the smoked king prawns and they didn’t make it past the first picnic bench; absolutely delicious. The smoked salmon made it home to complement some home baked bread, just perfect.
Just sampled the mackerel and samphire pate. I have smoked salmon in the fridge and I’m already plotting a quick trip to stock up on the tarts for a picnic lunch. Delicious. Friendly service too.
This is a shack where one buys fish. It is mainly smoked, but this is quite light. The noon pie is absolutely to die for.( think omelette Arnold Bennett in a pie form)
Absolutely phenomenal smoked fish - and I don’t like fish!! We visit regularly from London to buy - it’s simply the best smoked fish we’ve ever tasted. The prawns and garlic mayo, the hot smoked salmon, the cold smoked salmon - all incredible flavours and like I say, can’t stop eating it - which tells you something coming from a non fish lover! If only they delivered…please 🙏🏻🤤
Perfectly smoked salmon. Thick, tender slices of salmon, served by the beach on a beautiful day.
Possibly the best smoked fish I've ever had. The flavour was delicate and not overly smokey, both the flavour of the fish and the smoke were evident with neither overpowering the other.
It's a beautiful beach. Being able to relax and enjoy the surroundings, whilst eating great food, is an added bonus!

You get a little taster of everything this local business makes. More than substantial enough for a hearty lunch. We went down the road to Thorpness to eat it and we were blown away by the quality and generosity.
And what’s really incredible is the value. Honestly - £6.50 is insane. If you were at a nice seafood restaurant in London, you’d be paying £30 for this. No joke.
It’s so good, I’d consider it a destination place.

It’s great that we found somewhere on the seafront that has such tasty & fresh seafood. My wife even went back for more prawns! This place offers a great reason to visit Aldeburgh yourself. Thanks very much & of course we want to go back for more.
Found this on a lovely day trip to Aldeburgh. Oh wow!! The selection on their counter is fantastic. Lots of choice. We had one of the sharing boxes which had a little bit of everything in. I can be fussy with my fish (as opposed to my husband) but I tried everything. All I can say is outstanding!! Especially the eel,pickled herrings salmon and tuna. Great value for money too. On the way back to the car we picked up some more fish to take home it was that good
What a great find! Perfect for an impromptu picnic - Smoked salmon was amazing, smoked haddock, cheddar and onion pie was superb! Would thoroughly recommend a stop here for supplies ⭐️
