Not realising this was a vegetarian restaurant I was pleasantly surprised, I opted for the spaghetti bolognese, seeing it was lentils instead of meat I was unsure if I’d like it but the flavour was unreal, I also had garlic bread which is the nicest I’ve had. The staff were really pleasant and the restaurant itself is stunning, would definitely go again.
Called in today for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. My, wife, daughter and 8 week old grandson and our little Westie. Food and drink was very good, but the service of all the staff, simply first class! Friendly, attentive and so polite. Definitely recommend this place. Thanks to all to team. Pete and family
Great Village cinema with small screen😊 Enjoyed watching "Barbie" movie there with friends yesterday. I am from London used to watch movies in big screens. This is totally a different experience for me 😁

I can wholeheartedly recommend Zeffirellis. Not only do they have good pizza - additionally the personnel is very friendly, and from the speakers you hear excellent jazz music (not "bar music", but real jazz). And the room has a cozy atmosphere. So nice to take a break there when you come to Ambleside!
Delicious Vegetarian restaurant. In the heart of the lakes, the centre of Ambleside is this gem. It couple a fabulous restaurant offering friendly service, fabulous food and to cap it all jazz or a cinema for a full evening of entertainment. It’s a busy place so worth booking but service is always good. The pizzas are very good as are other mains, I loved the veggie chilly. Deserts are classic, the Tiramisu is my firm favourite but others would argue for the sticky toffee pudding or banoffee pie. Well worth a visit.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Food was good quality and good portions. They also do children's portions of the menu. Whent here as they do a Cinema meal deal. Highly recommended.
A very different, but enjoyable, experience! After checking in at the reception downstairs for our cinema/meal booking by phone, we were told to go upstairs (where the cinema was located) and check in again. The person upstairs we were to see had a queue of customers waiting to buy drinks and nibbles. The showing of the film was imminent. When we finally saw her we were told to "go straight into Cinema One". Apparently we didn't need to 'check in' with her as we were on their system. Could the receptionist we first saw not have told us that? That saying, wonderful service by the all in the restaurant. Food, decor and ambience was spot-on. Would definitely book again, especially as we now know the procedure.
Stopped by at Zeffirellis for a drink and some snacks while visiting Ambleside. Tasty food and friendly service. We sat outside during the heat wave and had a great view of some jets flying by.
Food was so good we had dessert too, highly recommended!
‘Little Italy’ - stunning restaurant. Exceptionale cuisine & professional helpful staff. The food looked good & tasted amazing. The atmosphere was nice. Located on a lovely street with great parking nearby. On top of my visit list. Will definitely call again 10/10
