Dearne Valley Farm - Dining & Carvery

Fantastic service & food. Claire was our waitress and she was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum has a walking aid and she got her a chair to sit on while we got to the front of the carvery queue. Mum had some flowers and we went to sit outside she offered to take them & put them in cellar where it was cool so they didn’t wilt. All restaurants need a Claire!! Thank you for making our afternoon a pleasure

Great visit for Sunday lunch today, great value and food. Good atmosphere in the family dining with a small play area to keep little ones entertained. Special mention to Claire who was really helpful, nothing is too much trouble for her, she was really lovely with our children too. I would highly recommend :)

We went to Dearne Valley Farm last night with our baby for some food. I was happily surprised on entrance to hear the stone roses playing over the speakers. Great tune. The food that we ordered (Mixed grill for me, chicken Tikka for my partner) was great for the price. Just what we expected really. What we didn’t expect was the fantastic service we received from a guy called Dale. He was so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much for him and what is a rarity these days, he actually seemed happy in his job. The world would benefit from more people like Dale spreading his happiness. We will be back, and hopefully Dale will be there to serve us. Cheers

Went for a family dinner and definitely got more than we expected. The food was lovely, waiting time was reasonable and the service received was exceptional. Ellie and Dale were fantastic. Polite, chatty and engaged with everyone at the table. Definitely would recommend and definitely will be going again.

Went for a family meal not expecting much.. just looking for somewhere convenient and cheap. Well I can say we were well surprised!! The food was much better than we imagined and the service we received was second to none. Dale and Ellie both looked after our group very well and made sure the menu was fully explained (we have fussy eaters!) but did it very happily and made us feel very much at ease !! The carvery and the cake was fantastic and will definitely be booking again !! Thank you

Restaurant was clean with a good atmosphere. Our waitress Rachel gave exceptional service; she was polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our food was excellent, it was well presented, hot and served promptly. A******service and food, would highly recommend and we'll definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing!! I couldn’t fault this place at all. It was busy for the carvery but was well worth the que. the staff was lovely but one was fantastic, she was called Clare it was her birthday that day. She went out n beyond for you. Top staff of the day that’s for sure. Would like to thank Clare for been super fantastic. Thank you ☺️

I brought my grandkids for breakfast with Santa I have to say the food was lovely and the whole experience was great the kids loved it there was lots of activities for the kids to do and Santa was really good our server Claire was really helpful and so friendly would recommend to all friends and family and hope to come back next year
