Visiting The Cooper Gallery was a delightful experience! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with an array of captivating artwork that truly showcased the talent and creativity of a diverse array of artists. The gallery's ambience was welcoming and conducive to appreciating each piece, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art on display. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just looking for a unique cultural experience, I highly recommend a visit to discover the beauty and inspiration within the gallery's walls.

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit! Came with my toddler and there was plenty for him to do. The kids corner was so comfortable and made our day. The members of staff are really friendly and came out of their way to come say hello and make us feel welcome. Will definitely be recommending and coming back.

Excellent place to spend a good hour.Exhibits of art and crafts. Sculpture and paintings. When I visited, there was a special activity area set aside for youngsters to get them exploring the centre. There is a small gift shop type and a cafe. I think (not sure) that both these facilities are time restricted. By which I mean that they were closed, but the gallery was still open and well attended.

In addition to it's core display the Cooper puts on some very interesting exhibitions - the latest is no exception. It is an eclectic mix with something for everyone. There is some exceptional art work. I particularly liked the charcoal, chalk and pastel portraits on black paper - at first I thought it was black and white photography. We are lucky that the Cooper puts on exhibitions of this quality and I urge people to take in this free show. In addition you won' t be disappointed by the Cooper cafe or the Joshua at the rear.
