Called in today for first in a while, still fabulous after all these years,first visited in 70's, Fish, chips & mushy peas ,so tasty will not leave it so long in future.

Absolutely delicious 😋, I had sausage, chips and gravy, every item was so tasty, could tell the chips were done in beef dripping and not oil, highly recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Mermaid fish and chips. The staff were all polite, friendly and courteous, especially the lady who was working in the seating area for whom nothing was too much trouble. The fish and chips

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable! We both enjoyed our meals. I liked that we were able to order at the takeaway and have our food brought out to us in the seating area next door. The whole experience was great!

Fantastic little chippy..good service, great portions and for under £10 get fish&chips, tea/coffee, bread and a side (curry/beans etc). Nice and relaxed no rush when sat down.
