Regularly attend The Great Stone on a Thursday evening with my Grandad. Always feel welcomed in the pub, swift service and great value for money on Thursday’s Grill Night! Would recommend to anyone as the best local pub around and is suitable for people of all ages!
Love the staff , helpful and friendly food good always hot , and don't have to wait too long , only drawback , ! not very big room ,.not enough room and tables , think they should in the summer and the winter with heaters open at the barns for extra eating and place x good atmosphere , go at least once a week
Absolutely love the Stone, beer is top quality with a great choice of guest ales. Amazingly friendly staff who contribute to a great atmosphere. The food menu offers a wide variety of meals for all. Brilliant live entertainment on a regular basis plus a large private beer garden to enjoy. Come and share a beer or two soon. 😁🍺
Little Gem off the main road. Popped in for a drink and food while we were out. It was very busy but the staff were very efficient. 1/2 Wait for food, which I thought was very good considering how busy it was, and there was a full function going on. Great little room outside for functions, which is good to know. And lovely beer garden. My wife and I are going back on 2nd December, and we have reserved a table with friends to watch entertainment that we found out is regularly available.
My favourite pub in the world 😄 always friendly, excellent staff, great prices, beautiful beer garden- you don’t feel like you are in Northfield. Deffo worth a visit!
Great live entertainment and friendly atmosphere. Staff are hard working and polite. A real little gem of a country style pub, hidden away. A credit to the hard work of all.
A real pub instead of the typical chain pub. I mean this in the best possible way, it's like a 90s pub. They have great music like Johnny Cash, Oasis and Nirvana. There's a partially covered beer garden out the back. The food is great and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. A great selection of drinks too. All you could ask for from a pub.
well what can i say.. what a great little find this was! me and 3 of my friends visited here for food and drinks recently and had one of the best evenings by far. Thank you to everyone at the great stone inn.. it’s called GREAT for a reason x

Staff are always really good and happy to chat, the beer is good and the atmosphere is great.
Great local pub . Cheap and cheerful. Great for a quiet drink and then too fantastic entertainment run by a great team . Food is good as well i love the all day breakfast i had today. Jan is great too! X
My husband and I had some time to kill before attending his hospital appointment, so we decided to treat ourselves to some lunch.
After a google, we found this pub and decided to give it a go.
We were so pleased by the service and the food that we shall be back, even if it’s a 45 min journey either way.
Decently priced food and deserts that are so delicious it leaves you wanting more!
Lovely little pub that more people need to be made aware of!!

We enjoyed a great meal and drinks yesterday this pub is a hidden gem in Northfield the manager Jan and staff are very friendly and helpful providing a great atmosphere and a lovely afternoon out can’t recommend highly enough
