Had a lovely meal last night with my boyfriend we had a 2 course meal with soft drink. The staff were friendly and the food got fresh and to our liking. Wish I lived nearer. Special thanks to one of the waiters who had a nice chat with us he grew up in Cambridge from where we live.
Will definitely come again.

Great food of Bengali and Indian cuisine. Lamb dishes are cooked really well and of great taste. Enjoyed the food as well as the decor and seating arrangements. Parking is not easy but across the street a small car park is a luxury to use on this busy street.
Been coming every week for years, always excellent food and service with staff showing interest and being able to advise on dishes served with real knowledge. We bring friends who are usually very impressed with the restaurant. Interesting and inspiring decor for a Curry house.
Third time here and the food was on par. A good selection of dishes, the food was nice.
The place is a bit dark inside but generally clean, staff attentive enough. I would go again and I recommend.

Every time I come to Birmingham I always pop in. The food is superb. Proper authentic Bangladeshi food. I got the Chotpoti today and it reminded me of Bangladesh. The Elisha dim curry I tried for the first time and it hit my all time top 5 curries ever. For food to take you back to Bangladesh with a mouthful is a must for those who miss Desi Khana.
2nd visit here. Recommended by Safron Gold in Warwick for being authentic home made food. Well the food with side dish of lentils was the business. Everything is fresh here, nothing comes out of a can. Service is good, they may not serve beer but they shouldn't need to.
the best curry house in brum In my opinion, been to loads ,this place is consistent out of about 50 times I've been there about twice I wasn't happy, and that was because one time the main chef had a day off, and the other time the chef was ill .clean friendly inviroment ,not to expensive ,they do not sell alcohol, they do your traditional curry's but I like their chefs specials ,you could have your curry's tailored to how you want. if you like proper authentic Bangladeshi food you will not find better in brum trust me I've tried .
Excellent place for family, we ate there during New Year's Eve and the food and service was exceptional. We were hesitant based on the bad reviews but trust me the food was delicious and reasonable prices.
We went to this restaurant tonight with great expectation and in fact it has exceeded all my expectation, Great food with 5 star service, Friendly waiters, over all it was a great experience, surely will go there again.
