I expect to see a reply from this review as this restaurant owner can’t take any criticism. Claims his food is the best around but when some customers are disappointed he replies trying justify stuff or saying the customer is wrong. I’m sorry but sometimes your food arrives late, sometimes your food isn’t as nice as expected, sometimes customers like myself are disappointed with both the service and quality of the food.
A decent restaurant would take all criticism on the chin and improve, instead you cover up your mistakes and put the blame on the customer.
Remember the customer doesn’t cook the pizza, or deliver it, they just eat it and review about it.
Disappointing to read the restaurant owners replies on just eat, deliveroo and google. It shows a real lack of respect for their customers who keep them in business.
Remember customers coming back doesn’t necessarily mean your the best, you could just be the best of a bad bunch. in this case, you was the only available option for us and we was disappointed and left dissatisfied.
Take this review like an adult and don’t reply, just learn from your mistakes and improve. that’s what reviews are about, it’s not a forum for you to be childish and reply with statements like “you should think better before judging the hole situation”, also using caps like teenager having an argument is just childish in your replies.
Don’t say “none in 3 miles can compete” that’s utter rubbish i have eaten at far better restaurants and had far better pizzas. you are not the best, your not the greatest, you are simple OK, mediocre at the very least.
Your customers are king, listen to them don’t argue with them.
Hoping you learn from this and improve.

I was original shocked to see such a reply but given the way he speaks to dissatisfied customers in person I am less shocked and this was pretty much expected although I am massively appalled that as a customer you THINK i haven’t ordered from you! Your attitude towards your customers absolutely stinks! You exists because we as customer eat your food, not because of your ego. You little tiny greasy man!!
Oh I have witnessed this greasy man lose his temper and tell customers to leave his shop. His ego is clearly why his staff are not happy.
Learn to be more respectful and appreciative towards your customers, happy or disappointed we still bought your terrible pizzas.

Such a shame about the service as the pizza is amazing. Ordered online with confirmation email. After 1 hour rang to see where food was. Excuse that order had just come through. Asked for a discount due to delay and he just started shouting at me. So rude I hung up.
Seen another review since that states same.

We've used Pizza Bay for about 2 years now. Most reliable pizza place near us, the food tastes good, always arrives hot and on time. The delivery drivers actually bring the food to your door!! That seems to be almost unheard of if you live in a flat now!
They have great collection offers in shop too!

Pizzas are always very tasty and hot, Been eating their pizzas since they opened and haven't found better locally. Even considering the current crisis delivery has always been acceptable. My guilty pleasure.

MUST READ BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM HERE.
A few weeks ago we ordered a pizza online and waited the hour we were told it would take. We had ordered from them on at least 5/6 occasions previously. After an hour we called and the gentleman on the phone said that they hadn't looked at the online orders and that he was very sorry (blah blah blah) and would get it out to us as soon as possible. No discount offered or any sort of complementary item etc but we didn't argue just waited a bit longer. Not THE biggest deal in the world, plus the guy has been honest about it so we just let it slide.
A few days ago I called to make another order, so I could be sure they got it this time, and the person on the phone told me to order online if I wanted to pay by card. I said okay, but made a lighthearted reference to the issue we'd had previously with their website ans asked they just look our for the order we'd be making.
Well. . . This unprofessional and downright rude man started shouting: "you just think its easy to blame our system, it must have been your internet that meant we didn't get your order, our system is fine - you just want free stuff" etc etc, I am sure you can imagine it - just read the other negative reviews.
I hung up the phone, as a paying and returning customer I downright refuse to be spoken to like this. My partner, who could hear the shouting down the phone from the other room, called them back and again this guy proceeded to shout down the phone in a seriously harassing manner until we again put the phone down. We just wanted a pizza . . .
Spend an extra couple of pounds and get your take out somewhere else, I promise you won't be missing out. We came back even after the previous issues, never again.
I can see that their manners extends to the replies they leave to reviewers who leave negative reviews. . . This is demonstrative of the issues this place has - they all say the same about 'problems with the website', waiting times and how they are spoken too when they raise these concerns.
They won't accept their behaviour is unacceptable and I strongly suspect I will receive a rude response to this review as others before me have gotten.

Well to start off my expirence after I had phoned my order for me to collect I was then told I needed to come and pay before they would cook the pizza. After I drove down to pay the man's attitude was appauling. I asked if I got discount concidering I had to make a double trip for something I should of only had to collect. 30 mins later returned where the man didn't acknowledge us the young man came out and said hi and pizzas would be ready shortly. At no point did the man talk or even make us feel like valued customers concidering we had placed very large order. Customers are what keep ur business alive and to have this attitude in that kind of business is just not good. The whole experience was a farse and I will never ever go back to be made to feel uncomfortable and un welcomed plain and simple why pay for someone to be rude to you x this review does not go for young man. Maybe should be front of house instead. As for your reply I do a lot of reviews for Google and always give full and frank reviews. U was rude and yes you had said after we had already told you it was for collection why would I want u to deliver when that was what I asked for. You was rude and ignorant. I have no reason to. Make things up. The young man working should remain in front of house as he was more polite and respectful. I wounder why the reason is u only have 16 reviews and not all of them are glowing reviews either. Maybe they dealt with you too x and one more point it wasn't about not giving a discount at all I asked just because it was a unnatural thing u asked me to do. So unnatural response was to ask are u paying for my diesal for a meal I should of left home once for. Not twise and to refuse to even cook the food till I made trip. Down to pay for it is rediculous that is why you order for fast food so u don't have to leave house which is somethink that seems to baffle you. When u order a pizza never in my life have I been made to leave my house to pay before u would cook it simple. It was a shame ur attitude spoiled the whole expirence.
