I think Sainsbury’s is the best supermarket in the UK.
Their bakery items are so delicious and their food selection is great.
The clothes department is also notable.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
In-store argos is also a plus which makes shopping more enjoyable.
The only downside is that it tends to be expensive than other supermarkets.
I'm a wheelchair user. My husband and I couldn't find a trolley to fit the chair, we ended up waiting for 1 from another shopper, thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long. This isn't the first time we've encountered problems here, it would help if more trolleys were available. This problem is still ongoing. The shelves were well stocked. We only went in for a cream cake, but came out £30 lighter 😂 There is sufficient space for more self checkout tills to be made available, we used this service and found it to be very popular. There has been no news from this store about the closure of it's very popular cafe, plus no plans to reopen the front doors since COVID.
UPDATE, PLEASE READ - to our dismay, we have seen (on many occasions) rats scurrying around by the front entrance/exit. Apart from leaving the front door permanently closed (could this be a coincidence?), Sainsbury's don't appear to have done anything to tackle the problem.
Very good and large store but very disappointed about the parking time as if you are disabled the store is large and if you are in a queue you can't have a chance to get out on time so you are trying to rush and cant get what you might need and look around to see if you want anything else and of cause you got to make sure you are not in a large queue and watching the time

It's a big chain not the cheapest, also bread from the bakery if you lucky stays fresh for a day.
I got all I needed. The aisle is marked that we can easily find what we came for.
Lovely tidy store, found everything we need and didn’t have to queue for long at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to visit.
Well stocked, good atmosphere, helpful staff.
Loved the recycling bit and can do shopping don't forget your bags
I dont go as often because its so expensive but sainsburys is always clean and well stocked and u can get some good offers staff are nearly always helpfull and freindly i do like sainsburys
