Bogue's Restaurant

It's been well over 5 years since I've been to Bogues restaurant. I decided to go have breakfast new years eve. One of the waitress I remembered, is still working there. She said she's been working there 44 years! 😱 I almost couldn't believe it until I googled to see how long Bogue's restaurant been in business. Fun facts! It's been around since 1938!! Wow! Sooo about my breakfast! I ordered the breakfast plate. As you can see from the picture I posted , the presentation of my food was great, but the grits were luke warm and so the cheese wouldn't melt! 🤣 All of my food was lukewarm and had to be remade. 😌 The remade version was perfect.👍 My friend ordered the veggie omelette. He said it was ok. I will be going back, but it will be awhile.🤔

In the past this restaurant would go out of the way in comfort serving up cinnamon rolls, not anymore from sit down to ordering 25 minutes from ordering to food 35 minutes and it was cold eggs were luke warm to cold and cinnamon buns 2.00 each and small size of half dollar even cost is extremely too high based on everything avg two visits 18.00 ea person , so slow to no service had to run to lady to get refill skip this place oh and did I mention clean nope toilet still busted spraying water on floor from 3 weeks ago last visit, nasty yes and this is my last visit
