We booked a slot on Saturday afternoon and were shown to a table. You're able to book an hour online, I'm unsure if you can book for any longer. It is £2 per person, which is quite a good price, and there are lots of board games to choose from. The atmosphere is nice, lots of chatter. Service is quite quick, if you scan a QR code you can see the menu, and you can order food and or drinks. We ordered an espresso and mocha, they arrived quickly. I have been once before, before 1pm on a Saturday, and it wasn't as busy. My experience last time was more enjoyable, we were able to enjoy our time and didn't feel rushed. This time, someone came up to us after about 40 minutes to tell us our slot was coming to an end and we would need to pay soon. They then came back after 3 minutes (after saying we had 10 minutes left) and took the payment. At that point, we felt like we needed to leave, even though we'd been there less than an hour. However, everyone else around us had been there since before we got there and were still there when we left. I don't know if it was just us who felt we needed to leave. I would go back again, but I did feel pressured.

Absolutely amazing to some up in 2 words. Cool idea having all the games, food was lovely and super well priced but for me what made it was the staff. The staff are wonderful and welcoming and 2 members in particular were just incredible, they made the experience incredible. So much so that we are getting a group together to come back and we are not from Birmingham. Can't recommend enough

One of the crispiest, tastiest chicken burgers I've had. The loaded chips were really nice too. They have a decent selection of drinks ,cocktails etc. I liked the theme of the restaurant/bar where you can play from a huge selection of boardgames, not your standard ones too. The staff there were very helpful and happy to recommend and guide our group through some of the games, which was great.

A nice board game cafe. They have a pretty good selection of games and the staff appear to be very knowledgeable and even help with the rules. I ordered chicken tacos and halloumi fries and they were good if a little bit expensive for what they were. The tacos are pretty small. My only complaints are that there wasn't any guide as to the games available and the food menu was pretty limited when we visited.

First time visiting chance and counters and definitely not the last! Great selection of games on offer which is a good way to test out games before buying them for yourself. Staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. All the cakes on offer are vegan and lots of vegan options on the menu. Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely loved this placed. Super relaxed environment with so many games to choose from. The menu had loads of choice and the onion bhaji fries were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it's so dog friendly. We were offered water and treats as soon as we came through the door and it's the best dog friendly morning we've had in a long time. Will definitely be back.

I couldn't love this place anymore, if I tried. Great for families, friends and more .. Booking a table is easy. You get to choose from a wide range of games to play with and the food is delicious. The signature hot chocolates are moreish and they also have a selection of alcoholic drinks, if that's more your vibe.

Absolutely fantastic board game location! The resident wizard was so charming and lovey, and all the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I would reccomend anyone to go here to play some classic games or new ones! The food was great, the beers were great, the chicken tikka fries were particularly fantastic The table next to us obviously had never played a few games befoe é and the staff were very kind in explaining them!
