Jojolounge Bar & Restaurant

Tried to book here in advance and no tables showing available on open table, just looked back on the website, the day before and found that there were tables available, so booked. When we got there, there was a sign saying, no need to book. When we went in, the venue was very empty, another couple having a meal and what looked like a few people having drinks after work. We were greeted by a lady, who I think may have been the manager, she was very friendly and got us seated and drinks very quickly. Our waiter was quite eager to get our order sorted, not a problem at the start, but once we had finished our main course, he was straight there, wanting us to order desserts. We were just finishing our drinks, when the waiter came over and asked if we wanted anything else, we said we were fine and just the bill, would be fine, to which he pulled the bill from behind his back and was straight back with the card machine, not giving us chance to properly look through the bill, there is already a tip amount added on to the bill, so you feel pressured to keep the tip on, as it comes with a note saying "all tips are given straight to your server". They were setting up and moving tables around for an event the next day. Went to the toilet before we left, they are very much out the way, down a steep flight of stairs, along a corridor, then through a door, down another corridor, if I had known, I would probably have waited, till I got home, as didn't feel safe going all that way on my own.

On Sunday 29th, a group of us came to Jojolounge Bar & Restaurant for our friends’ 26th Birthday. The staff were all absolutely brilliant; lovely, friendly & a lot of fun. The food was superb, such a great choice and the steak was cooked perfectly. We all had such a beautiful evening with our friends and the lovely staff really did put a cherry on top of the evening. We were able to do song requests and have all the music we wanted; played. We had a great dance around and the staff then sang happy birthday to our friend which was really beautiful. Thank you for such great hospitality, kindness, fun & goood food. It was a very special evening.
