We first briefly visited the excellent Boaters Bar on our Lakes holiday, this year we got to make a proper night of it and my fiancé and I were incredibly impressed with this wonderful establishment.
We had several of their signature cocktails, all of them were excellent, mixed to perfection by the very friendly bar staff, Sebastian and Jake were particularly good. I was incredibly impressed that my Old Fashioned was smoked and I even got a choice of wood chips, top notch drinks.
The atmosphere was really nice and it’s a very stylish bar with a large outdoor area with stunning views of Lake Windermere. They even have a really cool game where you have to try and swing a hook and attempt to get it to land on a hook on the wall, very difficult and highly addictive especially after a few drinks. We also had a great game of pool.
This is a great bar and we will most definitely be visiting again next year, highly recommended.
Great location with an outdoor terrace at the back with views across the marina and the lake. The pizza was good. Staff were very friendly and polite. They refilled our water bottles too which made us happy. Keep up the good work!
Great atmosphere to have a drink or some food. I highly recommend the outdoor area at the very back of the bar. Its lovely to sit by the lake and relax.

Called in just after opening as we were in need of coffee, choice helped by them being dog friendly. Place was almost empty, however that was not a problem, coffee was excellent, however not much cake left to order so went with a garlic bread with cheese as a quick snack to share. Coffee was almost finished when the garlic bread arrived, did begin to wonder where it was, as did the lady who served us who went looking for it at the same time as we started to question where the food was. It was worth the wait, very enjoyable and the left overs went well with our tea later in that day. Would highly recommend the voters bar and will return for an alcoholic beverage someday. Knocked a star off for the wait but would not hesitate to return
Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Inside is great as well. But the really special thing about it is the huge craft beer selection they got there. Food wise they got only pizzas, but fortunately it's a very good oven baked pizza, which we enjoyed.
Would come back here any day, really enjoyed the place.
Dog friendly pub and restaurant with great views of the lake. Great outside seating for those sunny days. Amazing Chicken Caesar salad!

So amazing place with warm welcome, great choices of beers, wine , cocktails and one of the best pizza ever I have "Balli bros". If you coming to bowness, you need to pop in and check this bar including out side siting with great view on lake.

Love it here! Been twice now. Atmosphere is always good. Child and dog friendly. Nice place to stop for a relax and a drink whilst visiting the lake. Bar service is excellent and quick.
Freshly made pizza to eat in or takeaway. Dog friendly. Opposite pay and display car park. Pizza was ok, great size and fresh. A bit floppy and flavour lacking
