Been here loads of times and the meals aren't consistent, they are usually fairly decent. Saying that the lasagna is awful and the garlic bread, isn't really garlic bread, it was terrible and not even cooked properly. On my last visit we got the sharer starter and it was amazing 👌🏼 so well cooked and just right for what we wanted.

A nice, big pub. Liked the play area as it suited the children well. They were even out there in the rain (earning badass points for exercise is poor weather). There was a surprising lack of telescope infrastructure.

Good food and nice atmosphere. Reluctantly went back to this place with friends after a pretty average experience. Things have really improved, the staff were excellent as was the relatively new manager. He seems to have pulled the place back together.

Decor is great, and there is a great atmosphere. Plenty of choice on the menu, and the food is excellent. Staff are friendly and professional. Parking is onsite with plenty of spaces.

I think the lads name was Sam behind the bar, but honestly the greatest barman I’ve ever come across. Always around for chat when it’s not busy, and helps me and mates when there’s issues with their pool table. Don’t think I’d go anywhere else. Pints: Spot on. Food: Spot on. Staff: Spot on.

Love the bogof deal on a Friday for the burgers with I bring my son in the astronomer. Although the staff have changed a lot recently (for the better), Zoe stood out and really looked after us. Bloody good barmaid as well. I’ve only put 3 for the atmosphere because my son lowered it by being an entitled little idiot and let himself down along with the atmosphere. I will return.

Second time we have been there. Great value for money with the eat out for £15 offer they have on at the moment. I gave it 4 stars due to a part of a dish being luke warm though we didn't complain about it so didn't really give them the chance to rectify the issue. And 4 stars given overall due to an area that had dried food up a wall but it may of been forgotten about at a busy time and short staffed. Apart from that nicely decorated inside, a small play area for children and would visit again

Im not local to the area, just googled to find somewhere to stop for lunch. Very good clean establishment, price is decent and the staff are so friendly. Will definitely come back here again. Worth a visit! Thank you
