Mine & my partners local. Spend half our lives in there. My 2 fave lagers are there (San Miguel & Peroni), the bitches favourite tipples are there (standard rosé wine & a rosé prosecco). Nice going in where you know the bar staff who are always friendly and have your drinks ready before you've even made it to the bar. Couple of lovely owners, plus Drogo the pub pooch best views of the sea etc and a really lovely atmosphere. PLUS the food is SCRUMMY. All in all, there's a reason it's my local beings as there's a few other pubs in the vicinity

Had another amazing time in the Bristol Bar with friends. Welcomed on arrival, friendly professional staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere. This was only my second time there, but is now one of my favourite places to have a meal and a catch up with friends

Had a lovely meal in The Bristol bar with a stunning view of the sunset. All 4 of us felt the food was excellent. I can recommend the Lamb Shank with the house red. My said her fish pie was one of the best. Well worth a visit!

With a view out over the ocean and the setting sun , the Bristol bar is the perfect place to relax and watch the sun go down. Visited several times but this was the first time we've eaten there. Great service and excellent food. Two of us had the special - Salmon, holandaise sauce, new potatoes and asparagus - fabulous.

We have eaten here a number of times for special occasions and the food has always been very good. The location is striking with lovely views over the coast and it has a traditional bar/pub feel. The staff are always attentive, even if the manager can be a little abrupt on the phone, but the overall experience is very good.

We love this pub and me and Mrs M have been here a few times but never previously had food. Clear statement on website, when the Sunday roast dinner options are gone they are gone. All good, you just take a punt. Booked up for today for 3 people. First words "I hope nobody is vegetarian". Unfortunately we all are 🤣. All vege roasts had run out but they couldn't have done more to accommodate us and give us alternative options. Food and service amazing. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Bravo Bristol Bar!

Went for Sunday lunch, The team were great and the food was great , sort of. My wife had the Fish pie which she said was fantastic as were the accompanying vegetables. How ever I had the Roast Beef which was promoted as medium rare. It was more rare than medium. The real let down however was the gravy. It was thin, wishy-washy, and everything on the plate was swimming in it. Therefore the beautiful crispy bottom roast potatoes were soggy and the meat was "underwater". An easy fix would be to serve the gravy separately and "reduce it" and by doing so make it it thicker. This would lift the meal dramatically, even so I would go back to eat there again. I hope they take onboard this well meant critic.

I always enjoy going there, food is a bit pricey but the portions are big (in my opinion) and very delicious. Very quiet and cosy.

Dogs welcome, classic feel but cleaner than most public houses. Shepherd's Pie is delicious, portions are huge, prices only slightly high, beers cold or warm as appropriate, staff is smiley and quite fetching, imo.

Nice place, quiet, great views, nice staff. We didn't have food this time but it looked amazing so will definitely be going back for dinner.
