We ordered beef bibimbap, grilled pork belly and also chicken soup with jinseng. In addition, we ordered the kimchi as the side to eat with grilled pork belly which is super yummy. The portion of bibimbap is good and you can taste the crispy rice on the bottom of the bowel if you like that kind of texture. The jinseng flavor from the chicken soup is quite strong (but we love it) unfortunately not much soup :( Btw, we tried crushed peach juice and black soy milk they are very delicious, it is worthy to mention that you can taste sesame flavor from the black soy milk but a bit sweet for me. Next time we would like to try their fried chicken, looks yummy :)
Great selection of genuine Korean food. We had the pork mandu, kimchi pancake, soy chicken and yangnyeom chicken. All tasted amazing. Only place in Brighton where you can get yangnyeom chicken so we were really excited to try it. It tasted exactly like Seoul food. Staff was really friendly and food came quickly. We shall be back :)
Visited like a month ago, I forgot to review!! The menu had many options, the food was delicious. We tried bulgogi bibimbap and it was so comforting, and served in the hot bowl as it should! And we also tried the mandu and the Korean Fried Chicken. The chicken was amazing!! The man serving was also really nice, in our receipt said his name was Lee if I remember correctly. Will definetely be back when we come back to Brighton!
Really enjoyed it. Can book directly on their site. First time trying and eating at a korean bbq, the food was great, drinks too and service was helpful. Even the owner himself helped cook the meat :)

Got the pork belly for two, first time @ a Korean bbq and really really good. (Loved the cook yourself experience very unique as a British person) Recommend getting the sweet chilli fried chicken and prawn dumplings!!!! Good service, welcoming staff and nice/cosy atmosphere :D
A really great authentic Korean restaurant serving all the classics like fried chicken, pancakes, bibimbap, hotpot, BBQ, and more! there's a decent vegetarian and vegan option. Super friendly and attentive staff. They were busy but never forgot about us.
The portion size is fairly decent so the starters are not your usual starter size! However it is still fairly pricey for 1 or 2 people. It would be better to come with a few more and do family style as the dishes are designed to be shared.
Just been here for my birthday and had to come and review. Korean food is my favourite and these guys absolutely smashed it. Really authentic menu, loads kf options and they warn you on the menu if it's spicy (and if it says spicy, you'd best believe them!).
We had pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi bibimbap. All were outstanding.
The server was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Very smiley man.
Will come back for sure!
A great little Korean restaurant located along London Road. It has a welcoming service and very tentative staff. A pretty good selection of Korean dishes or self cook options. Freshly cooked and very hot when served. Vegetarian options available.
The seating can feel a bit cramped due to the limited space inside but okay if you come solo to small groups.
The menu prices were fairly reasonable for good Asain food dishes can are relatively filling as well.
Look forward to trying more things out on the menu for next time.

I ordered A05 (for take-away) from the lunch special menu and it was very tasty! I’ll go back to try something else when I have a chance. Their lunch specials run from 12:00 - 14:30.
Best Korean food in Brighton, fried chicken and fried rice are must haves!
One of my favourite to go Korean shop in Brighton. The food is decent~
Note: they offer 20% discount for certain dishes during this summer too!
On our trip to Brighton for the weekend, I booked at Kogi after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm a bit of a Korean fanatic and have only eaten at restaurants in London and Seoul. Only a small place a bit off the main seafront but worth the walk. Started with a plate of Korean chicken between the four of us. I died and went to heaven...! I love this stuff and would eat it everyday if I could. The chicken with the spicy sauce is the best. We followed with a main which again was very tasty. Being the pig I am, I just about finished this after over doing it with the chicken. I'll never learn.! If you haven't tried Korean food, be brave, its delicious. I was the youngest in our group and I'm 54. Kogi was better than the London restaurants.
