I love the Hop & Vine. We go here for lunch at least once a week and quite often for after work drinks on a Friday. The food is excellent with a really good range of choices for pescatarian/vegetarians. The fishfinger sandwich with skinny fries is a particular favourite. They serve Curious Brew and IPA along with guest ales and a great selection of gins and tonics. Sean, the manager, and all his staff are very friendly.
I am very much a meat person. I decided to have a pizza with anchovies olive, garlic and capers. Totally enjoyed this. The atmosphere is great and staff are welcoming. Would definitely recommend the hop and vine
The people at the Hop & Vine are lovely, they make wonderful pizzas, plus loads of other options. Great specials, great wine selection, a brilliant range of cocktails (including the classics), beers on tap, great coffee. All in a wonderful location at the heart of Fiveways.

Garlic bread, olives, whitebait, four cheese pizza, American hot pizza, chicken Caesar salad, half chicken and fries, burger and chips, brownies, salted caramel ice cream, cappuccino creme brulé, red wine, white wine, beer, cosmopolitan, margarita, mojito, orange brulé, espresso martini, cucumber and mint martini, and decaf tea!
Very friendly, food good, drinks excellent. myself and my wife went with our son and very accommodating with high chair, colouring books etc. Will be going back soon.
Food very nice. Had burgers and roast dinner. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. A bit slow but it was busy and we weren't in a hurry

Excellent service, good food and fair prices. This is a family run place with simple food freshly cooked with local ingredients. Easy going friendly atmosphere, wooden floors big windows nice vibe.
Little gem of a restaurant, and we're so lucky to have this just round the corner from us. Brilliant food, good selection of drink and super-friendly staff.
Delicious pizzas, quick service (less than ten minutes for pizza), not too expensive I recommend. I am not from Brighton, but I will definitely go again.
