Easy Tiger

We went for the Indian food, and it was absolutely great. The pork vindaloo was exactly as it should be, with a healthy vinegar kick. The lamb biriani was fragrant, warming and satisfying. The paneer dish was tasty, the sauce had a good balance of tomato and spicing. And don't forget the spicy fries with Sriracha dip, great for grazing... Chef Sabu is creating great food, and being able to have it in a pleasant pub is a bonus!

Lovely pub with amazing food. I don't even know how many times we've eaten here now, even brought the in-laws last time. The food never disappoints. Nice spice levels to the food too. I'm no food critic but I can clearly tell the spices and ingredients are high quality and not just some tinned ready mix! Pub has a good selection of beers and staff is super lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend :)

Lucky lucky me that this is my local in Brighton. Their service is knowledgeable, chilled, and attentive. The food is delicious, varied from vegan, veg to meat. The flavours are deep and warm with spices and blends of textures that make you feel happy. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and easy going. Highly recommended.

Heard about the Currys up here but never got round to going, but I should have much earlier. Super tasty curry but a Bit annoying that you have to buy the rice separately which just makes it more expensive. The keralan fried chicken was fab as well. Great atmosphere, nice to sit down, have a pint and some food food.

We’re here too often. A go-to for amazing food that is consistently mouth watering. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Love the beer selection - Pond Water is a particular favourite. 10/10 recommend Easy Tiger to everyone. Get the paratha bread - it’s to die for! Cocktails are also surprisingly good and creative!

Absolutely fantastic!! Go with a group of friends and order as many plates to share as possible - there is not a bad dish on the menu!! My personal highlights were the Thakkali Kutan (sweet potato & aubergine curry), Kadhi Paneer, and Kerala Fried Chicken, but honestly everything I tried was 10/10. There is a really good selection of beers & wine, definitely something for everyone. I recommend the Wavy session pale ale - it went beautifully with the spices in the food. The service was relatively quick for a Friday night, and the pub in general has a really positive, friendly vibe. Will definitely be back!! 🐯🌟

Updated again: just to say that a third review is thoroughly warranted, the food, and especially the paratha was fantastic, full of flavour and delicately but well spiced. Still ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ second visiting back and the beer and food were both as good as ever First visit back since the beginning of lockdown and as good as ever. Great choice of beers in keg and cask and the food was excellent - really enjoyed the paneer makhani
