Great atmosphere, great food and great selection of drinks. This place is a bit of a hidden gem in Brighton and the staff are more than welcoming and always happy to have a chat with you.

Absolutely fantastic!! Go with a group of friends and order as many plates to share as possible - there is not a bad dish on the menu!!
My personal highlights were the Thakkali Kutan (sweet potato & aubergine curry), Kadhi Paneer, and Kerala Fried Chicken, but honestly everything I tried was 10/10.
There is a really good selection of beers & wine, definitely something for everyone. I recommend the Wavy session pale ale - it went beautifully with the spices in the food.
The service was relatively quick for a Friday night, and the pub in general has a really positive, friendly vibe. Will definitely be back!! 🐯🌟
Absolutely delicious food! I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s incredibly tasty, just can’t get enough.
They have an excellent selection of cocktails which look and taste fantastic, I’m looking forward to seeing what they bring out for Autumn.
The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about the local beers, natural wines & food they serve. It has a wonderful atmosphere and would really recommend a trip!

Excellent pub with fantastic beer and friendly staff. Food was very delicious but the menu could be a bit clearer about the size of the dishes. Some are main meals and some are sort of half way between a starter and a main. My wife ordered the fried chicken which was great but not quite enough. Just need to either explain that some dishes are sharers & some are full meals one way or the other. Not moaning here just honest constructive feedback!
Really lovely Indian food in this tiger-inspired pub. Everything we tried was delicious and nicely spiced. Cosy and convivial. Good service. Value for money. Lots of nice drinks on tap too.

First visit back since the beginning of lockdown and as good as ever. Great choice of beers in keg and cask and the food was excellent - really enjoyed the paneer makhani
The bar was fantastic. We walked from the street out of nowhere, not knowing they served Indian food and some of the best dynamics to come across in Brighton. We waited for a table, ate some of the amazing food and came across some of the greatest service I have had in my life, I believe the name is Zoe

Probably the most authentic Indian food you can find in this part of the UK. Limited menu that frequently changes. We had pork curry, Malabar chicken Biriyani, Kerala porotta and trade mark Kerala Fried Chicken. Often we commented that it's one of the best food we had even in India.
Chefs with experience of cooking on traditional houseboats of Kerala can't really go wrong I guess. Check with them for the culinary trails they run in South India.
