One of my favorite upscale sushi houses in Brighton. Great selections of sashimi as well as traditional grilled Yakitori and yakiton. Great contemporary saucy fusiony rolls too. You can also order on Uber eats, but IMO its way better in-house. Might be the sauces not traveling well not sure but still really great.

By far the best Sushi in Brighton and Hove! Would highly recommend. The Aji Poke bowl is the perfect light lunch full of tasty, fresh ingredients. Or if you fancy sushi try the Rock' n roll or One The Drive duo - both incredible! Grab a seat in the window and people watch or sit on the pass to watch the chefs in action. I'll be back soon! :)

My wife surprised me with a dinner out on a Monday evening and had booked a table for us at Aji Sushi. It was somewhere I had always passed and wanted to try but had never got round to it. I was a little unsure when we arrived as there was only one other table of people eating, although it is small inside. My doubts were very quickly dismissed though as the sushi was spectacular!!! We had a wide array of different roles from spicy tuna to mother of dragon. Every single one was incredible. We had a glass of wine each, some edimame to start and then so much beautiful sushi. It was all made completely fresh to order and was presented very well (see my photos). I would highly, highly recommend anyone who likes sushi to try here and best of all it was not to expensive. Really worth a visit!

The service is great and the food is good. We went for the all-you-can-eat offer and it didn't disappoint. Basically you get a reduced menu to choose from, it includes good options and basically you can order as much as you want. The only problem (and this is why I rate 4/5) are the young chefs, they are disorganized, sloppy, they get confused with the orders, and argue between them. We got some random selection that we didn't order (it was not a big deal for us because we wanted to taste most of the menu but it can be a real problem for other people).

A very efficient, newbie waitress who definitely works well under pressure and the food that's a treat to the pallet! (I'm not a person with a sweet tooth, but the sesame ice-cream is definitely a dessert I'll be coming back for!) Thank you!

Excellent, Excellent. Have just eaten at Aji Sushi, we were meant to eat at Tropical Sushi but they were closed . Hopped on the bus to Hove, three fresh, flavoursome (thank Mark Wiens for new words) dishes later, fully converted. Please try the Volcano hot octopus dish, if you have never had hot sushi before, prepare to be converted/confused all at the same time. Great staff, very helpful, please give them a try, you have my word, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely ambience and very friendly staff. This place offers a good selection of sushi: both classic staples and options with a modern twist. Worth knowing: BYOB available if you in the mood for a stronger drink.

Pre booked a table of 11 made up of younger kids, older kids and adults including a wheelchair user. Food was decent and staff were happy to accommodate as they didn't have a specific kids menu but adapted a couple of the dishes to make them smaller. I didn't have dessert but those who did felt that they weren't as good as the main courses and were probably not made from scratch but the staff were friendly and the main meals were tasty. Lovely burgers! No disabled toilet access though so patrons just need to be mindful of that as the loo is downstairs. Would re - visit and happily eat here again.
