Wow I just had a weeks vacation in Brighton from oxford and all I can say is I loved visiting this branch of hotel chocolat so much as I love the products and teas they serve but more importantly the staff here were so amazing and welcoming and friendly especially the short curly haired young lady in the shop she was really very friendly and had a great personality and sense of humour. I had a laugh with her and said the staff at the Brighton store are much much better and friendlier than the oxford store. I will be back again soon!

Absolutely loved the classic chocolate milkshake. The flavour was very rich. The chocolate cream was too sweet. If you’re someone who doesn’t like milkshakes very sweet, take it without the chocolate cream. It was pretty heavy but delicious. You can also try their soft serve ice cream. It had a unique test. 🍫🥤

I've been a customer of Hotel Chocolat for many years now. Other than the very premium pricing, I have only positive things to say. I have purchased many of their products over the years and have always been happy. The variety of delicious products is great and if I ever have a problem deciding what to go for the friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help. There are plenty of beautifully presented gift options available however I mostly stick to the modestly packaged "selector" range as this is the most economic way of enjoying their produce. I had a great time in here the other day. Lovely staff are very attentive and know the products and there's always a good range of chocolate goods, from truffles to chocolate fruits to gift boxes to booze. This branch even has a cafe so you can enjoy a hot chocolate in the window. Fab!

If you are a hot chocolate (or just chocolate) fan. Definitely give this spot a try as they do a range of flavours of hot chocolate and they now even have iced versions. The one I had was salted caramel and it was still rich in chocolate, very delicious. Also service was very friendly as well!

First time experience but will visit again. Good quantity for the price, the sundae was £4.95 and pretty worth it! Would like to try the salted caramel vodka liqueur :)
