4/12/21: update I am more than happy to update my review and give this establishment five stars. CongratulatIons to Kiran/new management team. We ordered a take away, and after a little longer than expected wait we were not disappointed. Both the staff member on the phone and the driver were professional and pleasant. The food, as alway was delicious. Thank you Kiran for reaching out, I am so happy your restaurant/take away is an option for me again. I have always loved the menu and the food is of high quality and tasty. I will defiantly be ordering again and coming back to the restaurant. Highly recommend. 2019: Ordered take away food at 6.30pm, now 9.10pm. Food still not arrived, apparently they delivered it to the wrong address. Now blaming this on us. We have CCTV and can prove that they did not deliver the food to my house. Can’t believe the truly shocking and extremely BAD customer service. They are liars. DO NOT ORDER A TAKEAWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

Found staff to go above and beyond in order to provide hungry people with a meal! We arrived after they had closed but they still cooked us a lovely tasty meal to takeaway! Naveen and the chef were lovely accommodating people who had time for a chat and a drink with us even though they were ready to lock up!! Food very tasty, definitely a must if you are looking for a quality takeaway or sit down meal. A massive thumbs up from us!!

UPDATE : I have now changed my 1 star review to a 4 star. The owner Kiran (a lovely woman) very kindly asked for another chance to give me the correct food. I went and collected on Friday evening. Food was very good. Thank you :) AWFUL. Ordered a chicken tikka biryani and gurkha paneer for collection yesterday evening. Went to collect, but did not open the parcel till I got home (assuming that they cannot mess up such a simple order). Ended up being given a mushy looking veg biryani. Thought I'd give it a try to save myself the hassle of changing - but it tasted awful. Called up to tell them, send pics and get a refund. They said the manager would call me straight back and refund me. After one hour - no call. I had to ring again and after waiting 10 mins on the line, the lady managed to speak to the manager. However, he insisted he needed the food back. So I took the food today - only got refunded for the biryani, not the paneer (even though I could not enjoy the paneer without the right rice) and then he says I can keep the biryani if I want. So then why make such an issue about having it back? I politely refused since the biryani tasted terrible anyway.

Having eaten in a couple of other Nepalese/Indian restaurants this one tops the lot so far. Worth going a little further out of Canterbury,although only 5 minute walk from the centre, the service was excellent throughout. The two mains we ordered were part of the chef's special range and both were of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

The owner is lovely and the food is delicious! They were very kind and catered for our vegan needs. Will definitely be back! The only thing I would say is that the lighting was a bit too bright so didn't have a cosy atmosphere you get in most restaurants but that's just my preference! See you again soon!
