A simple but lovely little cafe that serves the best fish and chips in England ... well, at least the parts I have visited. Great service with happy employees and happy guests! Thanks from Texas USA.

Best cafe in town for a bacon butty & mug o tea. Keeping us all socially distanced, very clean/hygienic. Staff are all friendly, polite & helpful. Wide range of meals, desserts, snacks & drinks, all reasonably priced. Plenty of seating for larger groups. Not wheelchair friendly as big step down to get to seating & toilets upstairs.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive.
The food was excellent and inexpensive and the portions were more than adequate.
Unfortunately I only found it the day before I was due to return home.
I will definitely be returning.
Thoroughly recommended.

Totally enjoyed this cosy and family-friendly cafeteria. Ordered steak pie and trust me its simple, good and very filling. Staff is friendly, helpful and would greet you in high spirits. Would definitely return.

Met my friend here for a Latte and then we stayed and had lunch after that. Reasonable prices. The folk that ran it were warm and friendly, greetings and goodbyes. We stayed quite a while and wasn't rushed at all. It was a busy place too.

I go here when i visit my sister. Excellent food from beans on toast, egg sausage chips, shepherd pie or roast dinners, chops, you name it they do it. Drinks and desserts. Very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Highly reccomend.

Good morning, I coming to Pantel's since it opened its doors in 1976 and never looked back. The food is always freshly cooked and served to you with a smile and so are the drinks. The atmosphere here at Pantel's is always warm and welcoming. Overall a very friendly place to come for breakfast, lunch or a snack at very reasonable prices.

Honestly wasn't expecting much as this was the recommended restaurant on a tour, but was impressed with the kind service of the staff. Food was pretty decent and would recommend this spot to friends.
