A glorious belly buster of a white chocolate bueno waffle, enjoyed in a crazy steam punk themed venue

This is the second time that have visited this ‘palace of pudding delight’. To be honest I though that my first visit was just a fluke and that things couldn’t really taste that good all of the time. I was wrong and very pleasantly surprised. The waffle I had (Strawberry fields) was just as tasty as they last choice that I had here, although if you pressed me I could name.
The menu and additional choice are extensive and you easily spend a whole day in here sampling all of the delightful food available to you (especially if you enjoy sweet food)
The staff are professional, friendly and very quick. They also extremely helpful and understanding. I have a service dog which I am still getting used to and when the staff understood what my dog was they were very accommodating, which I have to say is very refreshing.
All in all, the revisit was well worth it and I shall be wending my way back here in the not too distant future - just to make sure that I haven’t steered anyone wrong with my recommendation (no self indulgence on my part of course!!)

Amazing steam-punk interior and an even more amazing menu with endless opportunities of combinations! Heaven for a sweet-tooth and, even for a non sweet-tooth like myself! Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS!

The vegan selection is rather disappointing (they didn't have the waffles or crepes). I had the plant-based cookie dough with bananas, raspberry sorbet, and mango sauce, which was really tasty but quite small. For comparison is the banana & strawberry waffle my mum ordered, which she ended up sharing with my partner because it was so big. Both desserts are pictured.
The atmosphere is really good, and overall would highly recommend if you're not vegan, as the menu is really extensive.
There is also a speaker directly in the "accessible" toilet which makes it potentially inaccessible to anyone with sensory issues due to how loud the music is. This isn't a problem in the rest of the restaurant though, and the lights are quite dim which is nice.

My first visit at Creams together with my wife and it was a really great one, especially for someone with a sweet tooth like myself. The first thing that we noticed was the beautiful decor and the way the tables were designed, which allowed us to have our own space but yet still feel the vibe. When ordering the food, I have to admit that we did find it hard to make a decision since there were too many great options to choose from. If it were up to us, we would’ve loved to try everything! In the end, we were content with what we ended up ordering.
Overall, good portion size and value for money! Staff was also friendly.

As an American moved to Canterbury, I miss the Cheesecake Factory and decided to try Creams after a nighttime event at the Cathedral. Wow!! Creams is even better! The Steampunk atmosphere is amazing! The service was first class! My gelato rocked my world and my hubby loved his Knickerbocker Glory!! Can’t recommend enough! Great food, variety, service and great prices!!

Incredible dining atmosphere. The interior design of this shop is great and creative. I would highly recommend students doing design courses such as ID or architecture to visit.
As for the food that I have ordered (as the picture posted), it is great especially the cream. The only negative comment I would say is that the vanilla ice cream served is too sweet.

The best ice-cream, fantastic "steampunk" interior, very friendly staff.

Really liked the ''Around the world in 80 days'' theme with all the gadgets on the ground floor and first floor. But we came for a late dessert and they did not disappoint us. Nice ice cream sorbet and great waffle and pancake with all the trimmings.

Good ice cream. For some reason it took 15+ minutes to get 1 scoop of ice cream despite the fact there was a tub full of the ice cream. The sinks are a bit odd as well, but i can tell a lot of effort was spent decorating the place.

Lots of choice and such cool interiors. Recommend the sticky toffee sizzler and mango waffle.
Highly recommend a visit

Just popped in and had some dessert. Very, very sweet. Portion size was a bit weird, one person had waffles that could have fed 2 people easily whereas the cookie dough was perfect for 1 person. Both on the same menu for about the same cost. Cannot fault the flavour at all, as long as you have a serious sweet tooth. The decoration and theme is stunning, really stuck to the Steampunk theme throughout! Would recommend!

Wow what can I say about creams! Where ever you go, they always deliver. I don’t want to get a diagnosis for diabetes but they are that good I might just risk for one of every desert for the rest of my life. From the entrance, design and layout the customer friendly staff. You have a great selection and can just order anything you want really

Creams Café is a beautiful gem in Canterbury (Palace Street) that totally lives up to its tagline of serving exquisite gelato. Stopped by here for a quick bite after visiting Dover, and ended up having a full meal. Waffles and crepes with ice cream were perfect. Service standards are just as exquisite: casually asked the ice cream artist behind the bar if they had a waffle like the one in the picture on the menu. He said it was mainly for illustration but then made it anyway - custom-built and prepped and exactly like the picture. Tasted amazing (see photos). The decor as well is awesome - a steampunk + fantasy design with cool brass, copper and soft wood finishes. A one-of-kind cafe that I would definitely return to when next in Canterbury.

Me and my family have been here a couple of times, and have always loved their food, though last time the staff were a bit slow at getting everything out together ...... that can be forgiven with the theme of the place.
The whole Steampunk/industrial look to the place is epic, I could spend hours photographing ever. Inch of the place.
I do hope one day I have a wedding party who want to have their reception here, one day 🤗🤪

Had a lovely time here. If you’ve got an allergy, I’d recommend just asking for what doesn’t contain your allergy, the menu doesn’t state allergens. The allergens sheet doesn’t make sense. However, the did have a wonderful coffee cake that was gluten-free!! Although the service is a little slow, it is worth it!!

I had the most excellent waffle here today. Freshly cooked, light and fluffy. The interior is fab, really eclectic and unusual. It serves desserts only, but well worth a visit!
