Miller & Carter Cardiff Bay

I'm on a short city break and thought I would treat myself to Miller and Carter. The food was amazing , hot and tasty, I got a different combination to what I suppose other people would normally order. I opted for 4 sides to make up my meal and with the portion sizes I wasn't disappointed. Lots of flavour. Dessert was fab too and I opted for the elderflower soda My Server was Dan, who made sure I had everything I needed. Thanks Dan. Shout out to the Grill Chef Alex too, can't let you go unoticed. Thanks for the delicious food. If and when I'm back in town I'll definitely be sure to visit again

Do not think I have ever had a better dining out experience! While the steak was immaculate and side servings so generous, the 5/5 rating is all down to our Steak Expert, José! He was the perfect distraction from the chaos of my life and made the experience so comfortable. He really lit up what had been a hard week. In simple terms, Miller & Carter, give him a pay rise! We will be back and hope to have the honour of meeting José again!

My fiance treated me to a surprise meal last night and we had such lovely food and service, we felt we had to share. We were mainly served by Angie, who was lovely and a great laugh but everyone who served us was professional and the food we had was excellently cooked. We will definitely be back one day. Keep up the great work!

A show at the Millennium Centre means one thing, food before the show! We decided to book into M&C as we fancied steak. The welcome was great and the seats really comfy. We went straight for the mains are we were starving. We ordered drinks and food the same time and in no time at all drinks arrived with food not far behind. It must have been within a few minutes after the lettuce wedge that the mains arrived. My wife's wedge was mainly lettuce and hardly any dressing (they gave extra after asking) , our chips were cold but they changed them and my wife's steak was tough (they knocked the cost of one meal off). We appreciated that they changed the food when asked but this shouldn't be the case with 3 items of food. I found it quite funny that when we paid the waiter actually asked if we wanted the change. First time for me, what ever happened to taking the money.and leaving the change on the table??? This would be the second time for poor food here. We won't be back!!

Had food very nice service was good too staff friendly. Only thing let this place down was when my daughter paid the bill she put no tip the staff member changed his attitude immediately and became completely unhelpful and uninterested when we asked about the parking. She doesn't earn a lot and this was her treat to me.

First time going to a Miller and Carter and I must say it was beautiful and what a great experience. The meat was insanely good and I enjoyed the food so much I don't like onion but that onion hash well it's was so tasty and I loved it. I must say our server Joe was fantastic, he helped me know the menu and what he would recommend he really made the effort to help me and made me feel comfortable, there was no sense of pressure to buy the expensive bits he was true and honest. I also had a surprise little birthday treat which was so cute and very sweet. Thank you again, can't wait to return

Had a lovely three course meal from the lunchtime menu at £19.95 and plus a £6.50 supplement for filet mignon 5oz. The steak was cooked perfectly rare, it was tender melted in the mouth (Thank you Grill Chef Harry). Our Server was Aldo who was helpful and wished my mum a happy birthday when he saw the card on the table. He also had a plate sent out with happy birthday, written on it at the end of the meal. I highly recommend the lunchtime menu and look forward to my next visit.
