I'm up from the Wollongong region for work and let me say the southern fried burger is with out a doubt the best burger I've had and the prices were to match. I'll definitely be back . Ps . The lady on the front door told me this was the best out of the three places to eat, and she didn't disappoint. Thanks again from a very hungry man

me and my wife just wanted to acknowledge the outstanding customer service we received tonight. We went to blueys smoke house tonight for dinner and we were greeted by Amanda, she had a big smile and positive attitude that made us feel very welcome. She said everything with a smile, and nothing was too hard for her. It’s not very often these days you get customer service so good it leaves a lasting impression, so we wanted to make sure it gets acknowledged. The food was amazing!

So went here for birthday dinner last night with the fam and it had been on my radar for a while now, being a smoked meats enthusiast that I am, I was very impressed by how good the food was! All 11 of us were very happy with our meals, some got the chicken burgers, steak and wings and my partner & I got the smoked meats platter for 2 and it was bloody unreal! For $78, the serving size was massive, as were the other meals. I’ve had my fair share of brisket & pulled pork and this was honestly some of the best that I’ve had, especially from a restaurant. Brisket was smokey, flavoursome & tender (the thinner end was a little dry (just dip in bbq sauce 👌🏼), but the thicker end was really moist), the pork was packed with flavour and super tender too. The ribs were super tender & flavoursome as well. Highly recommended trying this place out if you’re into smoked meats! Also get the house bbq sauce & chipotle aioli, both go perfect with everything. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Also from my experience, I don’t think most of the older negative reviews on here about the food truly reflect this place & the food for what it is now. But definitely come give it a crack, cause I’ll definitely be back!

First timers. Greeted at door by friendly staff member and offered choice of table or booth. Had night's specials explained to us and how to order. We chose the special hamburger and we were lucky we were sharing! Good serve with the works and chips. Service was prompt and bubbly. The restaurant itself was almost empty on a Friday night, it appears that the regulars take their meal out to the main lounge. Recommend.

We celebrated a family birthday at this place, and I'll admit, the initial impression when we walked in was somewhat underwhelming, but then again, it's an RSL, so I wasn't expecting too much. The menu didn't do much to raise our expectations either; it was on the smaller side with rather basic options. Despite my low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. My brother and I decided to share a Meat platter for 2, while my sister-in-law and partner ordered burgers. The meat platter was fantastic, and the burgers looked great. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a solid meal.
