Just finished the excellent £20 tasting menu. All aspects of the food was delicious and catered for all tastes. We had a celiac in our party and each one of the dishes was made in gluten free form to enable him to eat all the wonderful food the rest of the party was enjoying. I can not recommend this place highly enough. My only suggestion would be that you choose the tasting menu so as to not spend all evening trying to choose from the fantastic range of dishes on the main menu.

Amazing food and cocktails tonight, always a relaxed atmosphere with helpful staff. Loved the peach and pineapple slush cocktail would definitely recommend that and the white chocolate creme brulee! Oh and sweet potato fries and the tandoori chicken skewers and the shabby burgers. Basically everything on the menu as we had a large party so got to try most dishes! Thanks for a great night.

Had a fantastic meal here with my wife. Visited based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Arrived earlier than our reservation but were seated immediately and without fuss; the staff were all very friendly. Menu choice is very good, both food and drinks options should suit most people. Quality and quantity also very good for the price; we will definitely return if we're back I Carlisle.

Hidden in a 80’s place just down the town center sits this nice little restaurants. The dishes are based on “tapas”, but with a twist. They’re huge, for one. And interesting combinations too. We had the falafel, chicken, hamburgers, “Italian” salad (ok, it contained Parma ham) and wraps. All delivered to our table with “gusto”. Well recommended as an alternative.

Lovely ambience and nice food. However, the service staff are not so warm.

Found this place by chance on a day trip stop off. Party of 4, we had a burger each with fries and coleslaw, and it was scrumptious. Proper, freshly cooked food made from natural ingredients. We enjoyed very much. Found the staff to be attentive and accommodating. Would highly recommend, shame we couldn't have stayed longer!!

Absolutely one of the best places in Carlisle for freshly cooked food. Even the chicken nuggets were made from scratch the children loved their meals. Excellent value for money and the service was quick. Very efficient. Definitely 5 stars.

Great place! In for food with my wife and the actual eating was great. They didnt remember my wife birthday even though we told them at booking but the food and atmosphere made up for it. The sweet potato fries with honey was the highlight!!!

Food was fantastic in this cosy place which is great with friends, family or just yourself. Beer and cocktails are great as well. Staff are really good and chilled. Little known fact is that if there are six or more you can have the taster menu.

This place is absolutely amazing. I went there with my family after graduation. They made room for us even though there were 8. Fantastic food and service. They really went above and beyond. Thanks to all the staff for making our day even better!

The food and atmosphere here is first class. The menu is varied and exciting and its always busy which is a good sign. My friends mobility is a bit lacking and the toilets are not the most accessible up the spiral staircase.
