Fabulous pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter. A great traditional Sunday lunch. Don't buy large unless you have a good appetite. A lovely country pub.

Fantastic Sunday roast. Best yorkshire pudding I've had for a long time! Beef and veg were cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back soon.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Honest staff, when I asked a question that he didn't know the answer to, he said "I don't know". Quite refreshing. Good price for good food and service.

Visited for Sunday lunch and I had a fantastic "home cooked" style Sunday roast. Food was delayed by 5 minutes so they could make us fresh Yorkshires! Very happy! I had the mustard glazed ham, it was fantastic!

We recently purchased a caravan near the Royal Oak which has become our local when we are there. The pub provides a great welcome with an excellent range of beers and lagers. The Sunday lunches are terrific. We have been twice now and haven’t been disappointed on either occasion. I would recommend the mustard glazed ham, but it’s all good and if they have the ginger sponge on the desert menu then go for it 😊. Make sure you are hungry though, I would suggest skipping breakfast.

Went here for Sunday lunch today. Great home cooked food and plenty of it, although you can order small ,medium or large roast dinners (what a great idea). The owners were very welcoming and friendly. This is a very busy place on a Sunday so you have to book a table. We will certainly be back for more.

What a lovely experience, a really nice pub with a wonderful outside space. The staff were great and really engaged with our 3 year old (I hate kids in pubs) but better than this was the food, I'd particularly recommend the mustard roast ham which was superb.
