Lovely place to visit. Good selection of beverages and food. Prices you'd expect from most food outlets. A bonus is the free car park which allows you 2 hours. Plenty of time for a walk along the river and a hot drink and snack. Great friendly staff. Happy to recommend.

Nice friendly tea room on the river Chelmer lock. Lovely cakes and mugs of tea. Car park is private so make sure you inform them of your number plate.

Great place for tea and cake. Access to launch paddle boards is excellent too.

Lovely stop during our 14 mile cycle along the canal. Sandwiches were nice and fresh and overstuffed with fillings :)
The cake wasn't quite as nice as we remembered, hence knocking a star off.
