Love this place. Whenever im in Chester i have to go there for afternoon tea or a welsh rarebit. Friendly staff. Looking forward to the next visit

Cosy cafe with an extensive menu of hot and cold sandwiches, light-bites and cakes. Super fast and friendly service and good strong tea. Generously filled sandwiches and rolls, if lacking in a bit finesse. Rather tightly packed tables, but needed due to its popularity.

Great food, freshly made and the staff were very friendly and professional. Super place for a lovely lunch.

We have been in Chester 2 weeks on holiday, and amongst the many coffee shops here in this very popular tourist city-without doubt the Coffee Mill takes some beating
Essentially open for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, the Mill is excellent-the food is quality, good value, with first class staff.
Highly recommended
We have visited for coffee and scones every day.

Second visit the past week, incredible service from the family, very nice food both times, full of historic pictures keeping the historic look inside as well as the high street, highly recommended to all. Wide selection on the menu.
undoubtedly will be visiting again, :D
Thank you !

I'm now an old lady, but I have been going to this lovely place since I was a young girl. I've always been treated like a lady and the food plus service has always been A1. Yes I've tried other places in Chester, but as far as I'm concerned The Coffee Mill cannot be beaten and now I don't bother going anywhere else, plus it is peaceful, and today being sooo hot, it was so cool. Thanks Coffee Mill.

Lovely traditional family tea room. What it lacks in finesse it more than makes up for with charm and character. Delicious, tasty home made food and cakes and friendly service. Always a pleasure.

Lovely food. Home made scones. A lovely tea room. My husband had a steak and ale pie with mash and peas and I had soup and Welsh rarebit followed by homemade scones with clotted cream and jam. Delicious! A great little place to have a break and a nibble.

Really lovely atmosphere and really nice food with friendly staff! All food was made from scratch with big portions reasonably priced.
