Great boozer with a wide range and good value cocktails. Tv's dotted around so sports fans aren't disappointed but they also aren't intrusive. Lively crowd but staff great at knowing who is next to be served at the bar. Don't know much about the history of the actual building but it looks like they have kept some of the original architecture.
Great pub in the historic crypt with lovely story about ghosts. Popped in for lunch, wasn't sure if it was dog friendly from website but saw two dogs just inside. Food choices are good with light bites, sandwiches and mains. Food came promptly and was tasty. Friendly staff.
Such a beautiful pub!! The food is great (and also quite big) and they have a nice variety of beers. Loved it
