Bob Evans

I had a sunrise photoshoot near by and wanted a relaxing breakfast afterwards. The Bob Evans off M59 near I94 opens at 7am on Thursday morning and arriving a few minutes after that there was only one other patron. This location is near several hotels, which in early Sept 2021 are still slow due to the pandemic. One other regular showed up while I was there and a carry out customer. I go to Bob Evans for the biscuits and gravy. I also had 3 eggs over easy and an orange juice. Service was great. Food was as expected and with a 20% tip it all came to a little more than $13. A fine value I thought.

Tried the bacon special with pepper, wow that was really good. The syrup at the bottle of the basket kept the bacon really warm. Had hash browns, eggs, and sausage patties. All cooked perfect. The staff was great, kind and courteous. Great atmosphere, was even talking with some of the other guests....it's a great place.

We moved to the area over a year ago. The first couple times we had gotten carry out the food was good. The last couple times it's just been awful. I got a chicken sandwich one of the times and the chicken had the texture of straight up rubber. It was disgusting. After that I refused to get food there anymore. My husband recently got the honey butter chicken and Biscuits dinner and he said it was awful and now refuses to eat from there again. Normally I won't say anything but this has been several times and I believe they need to know.

Wow! I haven't been to a Bob Evans in so long. I am so glad I started going back. This location, which is extremely close to me, was very clean and the service staff were very friendly. Now for the food. Amazing. New items on the menu along with some classics. My friendly and I sampled a bit of everything and I've gotta say the honey bytter chicken and biscuits and the French toast were the best! Looking for good, home-style cooking and friendly service? Definitely consider coming to Bob Evans...down on the farm (or in this case, on M-59) !

Food is simply horrible. Very uncomfortable place to sit and eat. They rush you as your eating. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give them one star. But that’s the only way I would be able to let you guys know about this trash place. Coffee had filmy top layer on the coffee as if the cup were not clean and the food Was horrible. Very disappointed and disappointing. I am not someone to even waste my time writing these comments so you know a person has to really have a dislike towards this horrendous place. Will NEVER go back and I definitely advise you to not waste your money.
