It was ok , nothing special. Chicken was quite dry. I bought some poppadoms and onion salad. The onion salad was terrible, it was literally just chopped red onion. No cucumber and tomato like most places. The onion was so strong aswell, you can tell it hadn't been soaked in water to loose it's acidity. Over all , nothing special.

Really great night celebrating my 70th birthday.... my family, (18 total), kids and grandchildren all had a super time. Good service. Delicious food.

Myself and my wife were staying in Dawlish and, as myself love curries went to try out the Gurkha and I was not disappointed. MMM the food was great, good portion. My wife not keen on them but after trying out her meal she loved it and she was impressed and finished the lot. So if you are staying Dawlish check out the Gurkha.

Fantastic range of vegan options (lots of mains to choose from as well as sides), really friendly and attentive staff, and delicious food with good portion sizes. Will definitely be back when next in Dawlish, thank you!

A lovely experience and staff, very attentive and actually seem really happy to have you in the restaurant.
The food was excellent, tasty and looked appetising.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will return.
