Visited for lunch today. Generous parking 3 out of 4 in our party are vegetarian. Although vegetarian option is a little limited don't let that put you off as their dishes we done very well! 9yr old child wanted nut roast carvery , and loved it. The nut roast was cooked well (not dry and lifeless like some places). Only down side is that we had to pay adult price for the child as nutroast not available in child size. (Picture of child in a food coma! Lol) Partner had Mac n cheese ratatouille and loved it came with lovely rustic bread. I had steak baguette n chips and it was gurt lush. The servers were polite and friendly , nothing was too much trouble. Well done and keep up the good work. Family from weymouth

Excellent food and service. The carvery was cooked to a very high standard and it was obvious that the chef took great pride in his skills. The staff were polite, prompt and very good. Highly recommended and I would certainly return if I lived in the area. Top notch.

Stopped off to use the toilet and grab a sandwich but was tempted by the daily carvery and I wasn't disappointed. The food was lovely and the service was amazing. Incredibly polite and helpful bar and waiting staff and the carvery chef was pleasant too. I sat under the outside canopy and had beautiful views of the sea and surrounding fields. The pub itself was very clean and tidy and had a nice cosy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again soon and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Decided to chance our luck and go for a carvery on a busy Sunday.... Friendly welcome.. and as expected no seats available inside but outside under the covered area was available. Not a problem, seated and with a lovely view, drinks on the go, carvery ordered. We were called up to the carvery quickly, and it looked amazing. All gluten free bar the stuffing and yorkshire puds, but the chef asked if I would like a GF yorkie.. this appeared within minutes so top marks there. Food was outstanding, 10/10. Probably best to book in advance if you want to sit indoors, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, would recommend.

Went for a family meal. Food was good, some meals from menu and some from carvery but organised by staff so we all got our meals at the same time. Lovely desserts. All staff very helpful and friendly. Great value for money.

Let me tell you, if you're planning on hitting up this joint for Sunday brunch, you best make a reservation. We got there and it was booked up solid until 7pm! Luckily, they had a terrace with some electric heaters that kept us toasty on the chilly day. Now, when it comes to the food, we went for the Sunday Carvery - their speciality. You get a choice of three meats - beef, turkey, and pig - and a nice selection of veggies to load up your plate. The service was top-notch, too. The folks working there were so kind and helpful. All in all, a great spot for a Sunday feed.

Very impressed by this Inn. Spacious, ideal for disabled, very friendly staff, good variety of food on the menu. My disabled mum only eats a small meal and on the menu was a smaller appetite option, separate from the children’s menu. We’ve never seen this before. The photos of the takeaway food do not do it justice, the bread was still warm when we got home, soft, so much beef, roast potatoes (only half the meal shown on photo) big chunks of chicken in the sandwich just delicious. Also not full of spices… Thank you. Wifi, outside seating, lovely views, sadly the weather was awful on the day we visited. Will definitely visit again.

Always come here if we’re in the area as the food is wonderful and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They are very dog friendly in here with dedicated areas to sit with the dogs, the owner had dog treats in his pocket and brought them some turkey from the carvery! The food is awesome, with a variety on the menu able to be made gluten free. The portions are are quite large as well, you get plenty of food for the money! The carvery is very good usually with 3 meats and at least 5 vegetables to choose from. Lots of car parking spaces, lots of seating inside and outside as well. Highly recommended, pre-booking advised.
