Only stopped for a quick drink. Excellent friendly service. Even told us about breakfast and food they did. Looked an excellent menu though and we maybe back.

Went for an evening meal whilst visiting the area on a short break. Place was very quiet. Food was ok but menu limited and the food was not great value for money. Staff were friendly. Toilets were abit meh! Sink broken in the ladies.

Nice pub, not as expensive as the pirate themed pub across the road, didn't eat here so can't comment, but they were serving roast pork dinners on a week day and it did look nice, roasties as well, might try it out next time and post another review... Bobby_G

The Silly Goose is 100% the best place we have visited. The first night we ate there, we were a late evening order, a member of the team came to let us know that they stop taking orders around 10-15 minutes before the kitchen closes, so we decided to head in to order quickly. The chefs prepared food for 14 people this close to closing, the staff were all incredibly friendly, and the food was prepared perfectly. Because of this amazing experience, we chose to visit a further three times within the week we were staying locally. Each visit came with the same friendly service and stellar food - the peppercorn sauce was delicious and after expressing how much we enjoyed the food, the chefs came out to chat with us and shared some top tips. You can really tell from the feel of being there that the team enjoy what they do, it shows in their service. Furthermore, they serve the best Pinot Grigio I have ever had (it's called "Arapala Sky" and you should try it). We cannot thank the team enough for all they did to make us feel welcome and provide great food and great service. Thank you all so much! We will certainly visit again!

Had dinner here & breakfast the next day..lovely food on both occasions..staff were pleasant but I think under staffed as long queue to order food at the bar. Nice big garden with plenty of tables & play area..Just watch out for seagulls!! 🙈

My family and I called into the Silly Goose on the way back from the beach in the early evening. There is plenty of outside seating under a tre or shade after a hot day out. Service was good with a fair selection of draught beers, lagers and cider.

Nothing bad to say, food was gorgeous, surface was fast and friendly, But main point, do not be put off by the look of the outside of the building

We had a lovely Sunday roast outside. We brought our dog too. Friendly service and very quick . We will definitely be returning next time we are at our caravan.
