Costa Coffee-durham Railway Station

Costa Coffee sells an amazing soft espresso and their desserts are pretty good as well, particularly the chocolate brownie. Their products are high quality as would be expected of Costa. However, since it is inside the rail station there isn’t really enough places where you can sit and take your coffee or food peacefully. This is more of a take it to go and you enjoy your product on the train (or if you just arrived Durham and would like to enjoy something while you reach your destination). Besides that, the service isn’t really that good, wether it’s because of the same situation of being inside a rail station or not, you can find yourself dealing with a not so happy employer.

Its open at 5:30AM most days.... 5:30AM !!!! Awesome! The coffee is decent too, some people have reviewed saying uncomfortable seating and limited selection!! WHO CARE's!!! You'll be sitting on a train journey, STAND UP, and if you don't like the selection then be prepared and take something from home, its a great service for such a small quaint station, thank you Costa and thank you Durham train station...
