Absolutely love this pub. If it’s a quite beer after work, a few pre drinks before a night out or a lovely meal this pub has it all. I love all the staff here they really take the time to get to know you and always up for a chat. I love this pub it’s definitely worth coming here. The food is amazing or if you want a light snack then you’ve got to try the cheese and biscuits! Great selection of food and drinks and even on a really busy night they get the food and drink out really quick. If you haven’t seen the Christmas decorations during festive time then it’s worth coming in just to see that. Highly recommend I’ll say it again this is the best pub in town

My first visit yesterday, everything was fantastic. Very warm welcome by the staff, lovely atmosphere and food was classic grub, cooken really well. Not typical greasy pub food, I normally only eat about 3 chips but ate the lot on my plate. Crispy outside, light fluffy inside, a real proper chip. Staff we great at accommodating allergy needs. Double checking ingredients for us. All done with a smile, not the normal rolling of eyes. It will become our regular haunt 😊

This was a gem of a find for us as we were having a night away, we only had to walk less than 5 mins, the pub is lovely and the food was plentiful, the fish tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection, the side salad was the best I ever had infact my hubby was jealous he didn't order one himself, the staff were very kind and courteous, I saw other people's meals and they were huge too, our 2 dinners and 2 Shandy's come to £27, we will be back on our next visit.

Well, what a gem of a pub just off the sea front. We were recommended the Marine by our guest house and we were not disappointed. Very reasonable prices, well cooked food and huge portions. Add to this pleasant, attentive staff and a homely setting and you have it all. We actually returned another night as we decided nothing would beat this pub. Well done and thoroughly recommended
