Absolutely amazing pub/restaurant. It’s so hard to find a pub that caters for all in Eastbourne. Whether you want a quiet drink, night out, family dinner or a wedding they will provide everything you need and more! The staff are so friendly, they go above and beyond to cater for your needs, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is fantastic 🤩 right on the seafront for amazing views in the day time and local enough to be the place you need to end up on a night out! The menu never disappoints, substantial choices served at the highest quality 👌🏻 Professional and classy yet a little bit sassy to tailor everyone. Try this pub!!! You won’t be disappointed 😊

We booked the venue for our after-party event and everything was amazing! After our wedding at The Grand, we went to the private party venue at The Crown and Anchor and had food, music, dance, and drinks! - Everything was spot on. We want to highlight the amazing service we received from the team, especially from their amazing Manager Ollie! He made the experience feel like 5*, he is just magic! We highly recommend this place if you are planning an event in Eastbourne. Truly a gem in the area.

I had dinner last night at the pub. Sausage and mash with fresh veg. The portions are huge and dinner was very tasty. I returned this morning to have breakfast. The food was hot, tasty and the portion was huge. I would recommend the Crown and Anchor not only just for the food but also it is a place with atmosphere, good selection of ales and lovely staff.

We have just had an excellent meal here as a family. The food was excellent as was the service. Great place to come for food and drink. Atmosphere rated slightly less due to some negative encounters with customers; one when I was wating at the bar for around 5 minutes and a group walked straight in off the street postponed themselves at the bar in front of me and almost got served before me I had to interject to point out to the member of staff that I was there first and had been for some time. Secondly we were surrounded by loud Liverpool fans; this did not provide for a relaxing atmosphere to eat our meal.

lovely food cooked to perfection. Lovely pub atmosphere. We stopped to have a drink to hide from the rain and was served by Jess, Lovely lady polite and friendly with a great smile. So we decided to return and have a meal. So pleased we did it was delightful. Hope Jess gets the recgnition she deserves. Thank you loads.

Have walked past many times, and it has always been busy. Nice atmosphere inside and a nice recently renovated outside area. Staff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu covers a large range of tastes, and a lot of dishes are homemade. Hubby had the Boston burger, which came with chips and coleslaw. He was very impressed with the burger being so tasty, and all of it was freshly cooked. I had the chilli con carni. Very nice 👌..didn't think it would have a kick at all, but it did just right. Rice was cooked perfectly. Garlic bread was a nice surprise, but don't bother with the salad. Well worth the money. We will be back as we want to try some more dishes 😋

Great Place on the seafront. Large choice of Beers and Wines. Sunday Roast very good. Steak and Ale pie very good. Moist, pleanty of gravey, accompanying vedge well cooked. Only dissalpointing dish was Garlick Mushrooms. Not a lot of taste. Overall a good choice for food and drinks. Buzzing atmosphere. Staff all at the top of their game. Outside seating area a great place to watch the world go by. Never boring. Live music some nights. Went 3 nights on the trott. So must have been good
