My husband and I had a meal here on the last day of our Edinburgh trip and it was the perfect way to end it on a lovely note.
The place looks beautiful, smells great (yes, you read that right) and the rooftop terrace has a wonderful vibe and a beautiful view of the castle.
I had the vegetarian burger and my husband got the steak, and we both really enjoyed our meal. An awesome spot!🥰
Had some great food here on the rooftop terrace. The haggis pizza was delicious and the buffalo wings too. Didn’t have high hopes for the food but my expectations were surpassed. The view of the castle is great too. Would highly recommend
Lovely cocktail consumed in there on cocktail week. The building is quirky, we didn't have access to all areas but it felt warm and welcoming. The staff were helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Will go back again. Possibly in the warmer months to use the roof terrace. It's just behind the castle in the grass market
Great food with a few Vegan options, had the Nae Bull Burger and the Meadows Pizza, both delicious.
Views and vibes from the top floor are fantastic so will be eating from there next time.

Friendly service however a little slow but it was super busy. Managed to get a table for 2 on a sunny Sunday without reservation
We enjoyed the place. Didn’t know about needing a reservation at dinner time so we weren’t able to experience at night, but went back for lunch on our last day. It was fun and there were hardly any people. Bathrooms really cool.
One of the best places I've visited at Edinburgh. The pizzas are literally the best I've had in last few years. Beer was out of the world. Will come back again soon.
Discover a hip bar with a brilliant location. The staff warmly welcomed us to the rooftop terraces and happily accommodated us. Booking a table in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment. Our server provided helpful recommendations for the menu and drinks. The Iced Tea cocktail was delicious and beautifully presented. Don't miss their fresh home-brewed beer. Though slightly pricey, it's well worth the experience. Highly recommend this place!
Was excited to check this little brewery out. The front is gorgeous with the flowers going up the side. It used to be a church! And then you turn the corner and a perfect view of the castle. There will be a lot of tourists around taking photos but it is a great people watching spot. You can’t beat a beer with a view!
After visiting edinburgh castle it is nice to have lunch or dessert at cold Town house, friendly atmospher. You can either sit inside or sit at the terrace and enjoy the castle view.
Wow we were so glad we popped in here, we were lucky to get a table and decided to stay to eat and both the food and drink was exceptional in flavour, lovely thin base pizza and the loaded beef fries were so tasty, really good atmosphere too, a fantastic find in a very trendy area of Edinburgh
