Faversham is a beautiful town and on a boiling hot day you just want friendly service and a lovely cool Whitstable lager. It's all here a good locals pub with seats outside to watch the town pass by.

When You are here in Faversham have a rest at the bear inn! Simply good! This pub is so wonderful British! We were glad to be here. ...and taste the glorious SHEPHERD NEAME, which comes from here! As a German I like a good beer - especially Pilsner, but when I'm in England I only drink local! Of course! On my first England trip many years ago SHEPHERD NEAME was the first English beer I ever had, unforgettable! "Spitfire" is my favorite but a Master Brew is also very nice! AND: Don't drink when You must drive!!

Life doesn't get much better than when you go down to your favourite pub, The Bear in Faversham and find they've put mussels on their specials board Saturday lunchtime! Possibly the best mussels I've eaten. This pub feels like family, not management. Outdoor seating in the beautiful market square. Wonderful home cooked food.

Cheep and cheerful Sunday lunch. I had the pork and apple sauce baguette which came with roast potatoes and gravy. Was tasty, staff were super friendly.

Cosy little ancient pub in Faversham with an enchanting snug bar. There are several unique sections to this ye olde pub, and you can hide yourself away in a little nook or share a small space with fellow patrons, while being served by delightful and chatty staff. Highly recommend.

A great historical pub in the middle of the Faversham market place, not far from the Shepherd Neame brewery. The pub is divided into different sections which makes it a bit more private and personal, meaning you can choose a table more suited to your particular preferences (either surrounded by people or in a quieter more secluded area). There are oak beams and lots of traditional features as well as the the usual selection of fantastic Shepherd Neame beers on offer. There is also a small outdoor space with tables and chairs outside the pub for the warmer months and the bar staff were all nice and friendly. We have been to this pub many times and there is always a good atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it, if you are in the area.

Nice selection of dishes, although being Sunday we went for the roast which was delicious. Near the Market Square of Faversham so best to park up by the swimming pool and walk through.

Dropped in for lunch but the place was heaving, most tables were full or reserved, we found a small spot and ordered, lovely food not any cheap rubbish well presented and delicious.
