We stopped here for some lunch while on holiday in Yorkshire and we are so glad we did. I had the steak pie and my wife had a giant Yorkshire pudding with sausages. Both were delicious and we left very satisfied! Malcolm (front of house) was very welcoming and had a good sense of humour. We really enjoyed our lunch and would definitely return when visiting the area again!

Lovely service from Malcolm and Margaret. My Grandad has been a regular here for many years and they treat him like royalty! Malcom has a lovely disposition and he has a fantastic sense of humour, makes his guests feel at ease and the food is great!

Great value for money, quick service and pleasant/traditional seaside tearoom décor. What made the place was the humour of the man serving us, whose quick wit and cheeky nature made for a pleasant atmosphere amongst every table. It was nice to have someone serving that diffused the reserved transactions of typical dining. I enjoyed my steak pie and chips (which he guessed I'd order before I ordered it!). My partner enjoyed her scampi too.
