We were staying at The Harbour Hotel as an anniversary treat and so we decided to have a meal here. There was a great atmosphere on arrival, with the experience from start to finish being amazing.
I couldn't fault the service at all and the food was absolutely amazing. Our server Finn was also great. I certainly would highly recommended The Long Bar & Grill.
My second visit and both times have been very good. Both the bar and restaurant staff are fantastic. Finn was looking after my group and he was brilliant, and compliments to chef, the burgers were insane! Def return next time I’m in town.
The burger was unreal Like the actual meat I’ve had fancier/nicer toppings/fillings but the burger meat was the best ever, really nice people, I was in there early so only me in there, so can’t comment on atmosphere I’m sure it’s fine though.
The food was absolutely delicious. 🤩 The environment is amazing and very well designed, but the service quality didn’t represent the food quality…maybe next time. 😊
Had a lovely meal with family here, the food was delicious and service was good. The pheasant scotch egg was absolutely amazing, I could quite happily eat them every day for the rest of my life 😅 our only complaint was that the onion loaf turned into a concrete brick after mere minutes of being served, and was inedible.
Charming place with good food and nice service. Gets quite busy in the bar area so I'd recommend booking.

Booked to see a show at G Live Guilford. Prebooked a table online for 5.30pm (earliest option) Restaurant is in The Harbour Hotel next to G Live and has it's own entance.
All the staff were pleasant, and our waitress, Hannah, was clearly not only good at her job but showed a genuine interest in our day and evening, making sure all our needs were met.
The food was excellent with the only disappointment being that the mixed greens in butter side dish was just cabbage and broccoli. I was expecting maybe mange tout or green beans as well.
An excellent meal, in a stylish relaxed atmosphere. Good value for what you get but maybe for some, more for a special occasion.
I stopped in on a Saturday night for a drink with a friend. It was quite busy and the music was a little loud for my taste, but the service at the bar was excellent.
Good menu and you can watch the Chefs at work.

There's a mixed clientele and a great variety of seated areas.
Love coming here for drinks. The bar manager Ben and all his team are lovely and very welcoming. Drinks are really good and have a massive selection. The dj plays at the weekend so a really good atmosphere
