Enjoyed a lovely almond croissant and matcha latte here with a friend, however I think the atmosphere could be greatly improved by a bit of background music - it was incredibly quiet/almost awkward!! This would probably be considered a positive if I had come to do some work in the café, as several other people had - but it was a Sunday morning and I would have liked a bit more ‘buzz’ so my friend and I didn’t feel like we were disturbing others with our chat 🐝

Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere, and amazing coffee. It’s a great working space, and an even better space for brunch, lunch, or just catching up with friends. There’s outdoor seating too, perfect if you want to have some coffee and food out in the open. Quick tip: Small Batch now have their own app, so don’t worry if you forgot your paper loyalty card, you can still get your stamps in the app.
