The food was pretty good and average priced, although garlic bread seems a bit expensive for what it is. Kids menu is big portions. Good portion size for the mains. Massive bowl of risotto. Calzone comes with sauce and side salad, which is great, and the cheesy top is a nice touch. Disappointed they don't do any kind of fried potatoes as a side. My pizza with aubergine didn't actually have any aubergine on it. The crust was a bit burnt and I would have liked cheese nearer to the edges. But the pizza dough is good and there were lots of olives on it. Pizza generally gets very boring about half way through. Or is too rich - the white base goat cheese pizza was lovely but I wouldn't want a whole pizza. It would be great to have the option of a smaller pizza with a non-bread side, to break it up. I'd like to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu. The menu isn't very clear. Parmesan cheese is not vegetarian. The staff could be a little more attentive, especially when it's quiet, but were friendly enough and helpful when asked.

The food was very good. The side salads were super tasty and big. My only recommendation is to work on the waiting time for the food. They didn't seemed understaffed. Maybe it was a coincidence and they just had everyone ordering at the same time. I didn't mind the waiting that much while trying their cocktails,which by the way were strong.

It is a lovely place to eat. It feels authentic, and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food was delicious and well made. The portions were just right for an adult, and drinks were okay. The place is a little small, and felt a little packed when it got busier. For the two sharing starters, four mains, and a few drinks, we've paid a little over £100 - which worked out roughly £25/pp - so prices are fair too, in my opinion.

The food at Toto is great. We popped in on Tuesday night before the cinema. Pleased we booked online as they were close to running out of tables. One weird thing was making a Pina Colada with a vegan cream substitute. Not a problem if that's your thing but this wasn't highlighted on the menu and it definitely wasn't as nice as a classic Pina Colada.

What a fantastic Italian restaurant, the food it very tasty and great value with large portions. They also do some great vegan options and you can even have a calzone with vegan cheese. I would totally recommend booking ahead as its usually quite busy. If you visit Newport why not ring ahead and see if they have a spare table so you can treat yourself to some great Italian food. 🇮🇹 🍕 😋👍

Tried pesto and cream Gnocchi and Mushroom Truffle Risotto. Both were amazing in taste. Portion size is perfect for one adult if paired with a side such as garlic bread. Authentic Italian taste (surely it’s authentic Italian restaurant as they don’t have Alfredo on their menu 😛) Customisations are available for vegans and vegetarians. Waiting staff was courteous. The service was a tad slow owing to busy times and prices are about 20% higher compared to mainland. 5 star otherwise.
