First time I've been to the Carpenters Arms and the only disappointment is that I'd not discovered it earlier.
What a lovely pub, very friendly and efficient, polite staff. Very well kept craft beers and as the the food, well "wow" absolutely superb.
See you again very soon 👍😀.

Arrived without a reservation on a busy night and were seated straight away. There was a great choice of food on the menu along with a specials board. The food was amazing, really lovely home cooked food at a very reasonable price. This was without a doubt the best food during our stay. The staff were all really friendly and gave a great service.
We didn't know before arriving but there was a quiz night (Thursday) which we took part in and were made to feel welcome by both the staff and the locals. I wish we had more time to go back again before going home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area as a great place to dine or stop for a drink.

Great place , great food , great price , fantastic staff , great atmosphere. Food was great and the portions was very good . Roast is to die food with big Yorkshire puddings . Loads of veg . Ham egg and chips wow hand carved ham and thick cut yummy .

Lovely food , catered for are diet's very well , highly recommend this lovely pub , reasonably priced, and for us close to home , will be returning soon , keep British pubs alive, 10 out 10 . Regards clive.

Booked for a party of 27 so needed a large space in the restaurant. I have to say that they were brilliant and really looked after us so well! They went out their way to accommodate us. Really good service and great roast dinner, excellent all round! Would definitely recommend this place.

Proper old fashioned pub in the nicest way serving good quality food at reasonable prices.
Sharing platter for four as starters,4 good main meals,one cheese and biscuits,bottle of red wine,pint of Guinness and 2 large Pinots for under £120 for all ...well worth a visit

Up in Norfolk on a weekend break, we came across this pub on way back to our holiday park from King's Lynn.
Food was absolutely gorgeous, My daughter and I had one of the best lasagnes we've tasted and lovely fresh chips. My husband had marinated chicken with a superb garlic sauce and my son ate all of his crispy chicken. Shared Nacho platter also all disappeared! Will call in again if we stay this way.

Delicious Sunday Roast and veg. Thoroughly recommend the quality and portion size. Apple Crumble a bit too hot to eat straight away, could easily burn your mouth and not proper crumble on top which was disappointing.
Service very good and friendly.
Dog friendly in the bar but not restaurant part.
Lively atmosphere.
