Absolutely fabulous nothing like pub grub it's just like mother used to make it. Okay it's a bit pricey compared with others but it's the ambience of the place. It appeared to be pensioners paradise with the 20% off everything, but then again it's those who seem to keep most places going, especially during the day. The staff were delightful despite their youthfulness. Top marks see you again very soon and thank you very much

Unfortunately I arrived to eat with friends and they politely refused to serve me any food because they could not cook anything without cross contamination. So I had crisps lol. My friend forgot to check when booking our table so it's my fault for not checking myself but the atmosphere is good and the service and food looked good too

Booked a table for lunch, we were not disappointed. The staff here are so friendly, you really do feel welcome. Opted for the Hull Chippy Special of fish, chips and a fish patty. Good atmosphere, nice decor, good food and efficient staff.

I eat there quite regularly as part of social events and the food is always excellent and good value in my opinion. I particularly like the fish and chips and their vegetarian options. Service is excellent and friendly, and the place has always been buzzing when I've been in.

Fantastic pub, the atmosphere from the moment you walked in was great, the building and decoration just has to be seen.

Went for lunch. The food was excellent, I recommend the fish and chips. All the staff were friendly and the beer was lovely and a reasonable choice. There was an added bonus for us oldies in that we got 20% off the bill. Highly recommend.
