This has to be the best fish and chips in West Hull. We've tried others, but none of them compare to A&M fisheries.
The staff are always so friendly, and very fast at getting the orders out.
The fish is cooked fresh to order, it doesn't come skinned but the ladies are always happy to skin it if you ask.
We've never had a bad experience with this shop, and would definitely recommend.

Always lovely fish and chips from here. I like my fish skinned, which the lady always does for me. Wonderful service, even though at the time of going they were doing an order for 45 small fish and chips for a care home chippy night.

I would like to say how wonderful & friendly the ladies were to me and my daughter today, we came to get my Dad a proper Hull pattie to take back home to Leeds, he enjoyed it and says it's the best he's had in ages! Our pattie, chips & gravy were lovely too! We'll be back at some point to get more, oh and sorry again for crying so much! Thank you again!

Visited Hull from Birmingham and fancied some fish and chips, tiny bit of research and decided to try A&M, so glad I did, outstanding fish and chips, the fish batter was perfectly crispy, chips were bostin and the curry was great.
Great bunch of staff also, especially the older lady (sorry older lady, older than the two young ones)

Went in on Good Friday... They were rushed off their feet, stressed, in need of a break I'm sure. Staff were still smiling and very friendly. The fish and chips we had are definitely my favourite in the area now and they have become my first choice for the future.
