A group of us had a new years day meal there before. The service was good with friendly staff. Several of us had the carvery which was excellent with generous portions of meat and a good range of vegetable available. It was good to have the option of a main menu too including tapas for those who didn't want the carvery.

We (my partner and I) went for a meal for the first time and loved the food. The only problem we had was we were told we couldn't book a table when my other half phoned up to do so, because they had to many bookings already. However they said if you still come down we'll see if we can get you in, and they did, which was great! but when we got there around 18:30 we were told the table was only free till 19:45. That wasn't a problem and we were grateful that they could accomodate. However I do recommend definitely booking a table in advance if you want to stay longer and not rush. It's a busy venue, but with a great atmosphere and the food was excellent! and The Cocktails were amazing. The staff were really warm and welcoming and we'll definitely be coming back again, but will also be making sure we book the table next time. As a bar/restaurant, with really great food and drink, this is a pretty awesome place.

Booked a table for 17.00 on a Sunday. The restaurant was quiet and well staffed. Service was friendly and a good variety of food on the menu. The kids loved their burgers and the fajita was good too! Shame it was so empty (was when we left too) as a few more diners would have done loads for the atmosphere.

A really lovely, easy place for food with no fuss and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and the food is very high quality. The prices are very reasonable too. My only gripe as that it’s pay on order so it’s not clear how to leave a tip. Maybe the card reader could have a gratuity screen at payment or something, or maybe a clear tips jar on the till :) Overall, very good food in a lovely environment. Would recommend

Took my partly disabled friend for lunch and was struck by the help & kindness so readily shown by all of the serving staff - a factor so well repeated at the linked NuBar on Kingston Rd Willerby. The management`s policy in staff hiring and training is to be very much applauded, as well as the ambience, quality & menu pricing - which are exemplary in both restaurants. I can therefore heartily recommend both of these venues to anyone.

Amazing food had a lovely meal out with family all made welcome including 3 yr old. gorgeous homemade food nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Best place i have been to in hull by far. Only draw back was waiting time with a child and possibly could have told us as first visit. But you knew it was all freshly made and served hot! Will be returning soon! They even made me a wonderful mocktail one very happy pregnant lady and extended family too!

First time here and we had a very nice lunch in nice surroundings at a decent price. I had burger and chips for £11 with bacon and cheese for an extra £1.50. Very meaty and clearly home made. Helen had mussels and sea bass from the tapas menu. Both were great and the sea bass was only £7-odd, despite being virtually a main without the potatoes. Mally had chicken madeira for about £12 and that was lovely too. Very spacious place with a good choice of premium beers and ales. Fair amount of parking too. Highly recommended.

Service was good and the food was very nice. My family loved the food (my father especially loved the T-Bone steak). Unfortunately my steak pie was a little too hard but the meat was lovely and tender. We came on Father's Day and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. Will be coming back again!!

Service is always great here. Cocktail was perfect. Food generally good, didn't think much of falafel burger but that might just be my taste.
