Whistling Goose

My family and I went for a Sunday meal here a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so my ma, sis and I went back today for our dinner. My ma ordered a beef lasagne but barely ate any of it because she said there wasn't any meat only pasta nor did she like the garlic bread as it was too dry. My sis ordered steak on flatbread which she enjoyed and I ordered the southern fried chicken on flatbread. I explained to the staff I was lactose intolerant and they reassured me no mayo would be put on the dish. The chicken and salad was lovely but the flatbread was tough to cut, even using a knife. However, the place is always clean, polite staff and welcoming atmosphere. If we go again there's plenty of other options on the menu we can try.

We are very frequent customers there :-) Few years ago, I stopped going to whistling goose as the food was not great, often was sent back to the kitchen, which I hate doing. However few months ago we ended up there and decided to grab a steak. And wow.... The food is always great, steak on point each time. Love everything on sizzling plates! Whatever they did and changed in the kitchen- it's working! Been going back constantly for few months now- not once was I disappointed ☺️ and the prices... are sooo good, I organised 2 birthday parties there too. Stephanie (hope I remember right), she is so friendly and lovely. Always serving with a smile. Definitely worth going, especially if you are a family.

Came here for a family dinner and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive when we ordered our meals. The food was hot and delivered in a timely manner. The steak was done to our requests. The chicken was cooked well and wasnt dry. Deserts were also delivered at a reasonable time too. There are plenty of food / deserts, including vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. There's are plenty of drinks to select from also. Some meals are part of a deal to help families on a budget. There's a car park around the front with a wheelchair accessible entrance. For younger members there is a safe play area for them to climb around in and play kick ball. Bar / eating areas are kept clean and tidy as well as the bathrooms. Will definitely be coming back here again for another visit 😊
