The Crown Inn

A great Wetherspoons! Went there on a Saturday late afternoon, with a good atmosphere with tourists & locals. The young staff seemed to be very busy & engaged in what they were doing which was good to see, although maybe they were a bit stretched serving drinks behind a busy bar & serving customers at their tables using the drinks ordering app. We ordered food which came about 10 mins after ordering which was fine & the food itself was simple but tasty & filling. The toilets were in good condition & clean but upstairs (as in all wetherspoons, more downstairs space for tables & customers I suppose) Overall a pleasant visit with thanks to the nice staff there.

Met up at the crown in Knaresborough yesterday to meet my brother for his birthday. It was easy to get served considering how busy it seemed to be. There was a lot of empty plates left on tables however the staff where non stop and seemed to be working hard. 2 members of staff caught my eye Holly and Ed, they had smiles on their face and were non stop. Would definitely give a heads up for the effort and will be visiting more often. Cheap beer and friendly faces.

Pleasant experience overall, great value drinks , cheaper than Harrogate spoons. Had a few scoops , I was most impressed my the warm and welcoming atmosphere and cheap drinks. I was served by lovely helpful and smiley lass , I think she said her name was Holly. Smiley and tattoos anyway. I will be back soon. Keep up the good work team knaresborough spoons.
