The Pumping Station

Went there to see Freddie Mercury tribute act, we all had a fabulous time, Joey Linden was a real livewire and incredibly entertaining. The menu was mainly burgers, we opted for the Wagyu burgers which were delicious as was the beer. We arrived quite early to a very warm welcome from the host, the staff were frienly and obliging. We are looking forward to going again.

We were very lucky to hear seats upstairs where the stage was set up. Those downstairs couldn't see anything g unless they went up to the dance floor. Not an ideal venue for this abba mania show but very enjoyable despite food problems. Steak in steak sandwich was sliced much too thick and bread collapsed. Meat tough and chewy..husband nearly choked on the gristley steak.

We booked our wedding ceremony and reception as part of a twilight package. Liz obviously knows what she’s doing, she advised us well, was very accommodating, she planned the day out with us to help ease any worries my partner had and was always great communicating before hand. The wedding ran smoothly, she was never far away when we needed her to ask any questions or needed help throughout the day. We paid a little more to upgrade the canapés to pulled pork cobs and the food was great ! We had a Saturday wedding so figured we would book Sunday lunch as we needed to collect our things anyway. We had 18 people for dinner and considering the wedding didn’t finish till 12 at night when we arrived the next day they had gone above and beyond to decorate a large table with our decor. Everything else was wrapped up for us neatly in a side room and again great food and service. Overall I would have no hesitation recommending Liz to any friends or family !

We had our wedding reception at the pumping station nearly 2 weeks ago, and I can not fault the venue or the staff at all. From start to finish Liz was just incredible, probably one of the genuinely nicest people we have met, so kind and understanding and supported us both the whole way (and was always patient with my numerous questions 😅). When the day came, even when timings were a little off and everything was held back from the service, Liz handled everything like a pro, took charge of everything and I was able to relax and not worry about a thing. All of the staff on the night were great, so helpful and friendly. We had so many comments about how lovely the venue was and genuinely couldn’t fault Liz and her team at all! The venue also gave us the opportunity to have some beautiful photos inside and outside among the trees, as it has such a beautiful setting! Thank you Liz, we are so grateful for everything ❤️

We held our wedding at the pumping station two weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing. The venue is perfect and Liz is fantastic. There is nothing she won't do to help and she made our day completely stress-free. Thank you so much all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We would definitely recommend.
